You've done well Bill, turned out a good bloke. It could have gone horribly wrong many a time, like myself. Although I didn't get involved in the gang scene really, but easily could have. Look how far you have come mate. I'm clean but a complete physical wreck now, couldn't fight sleep and win! I sometimes think i should have just carried on with the gear and popped off like many i knew. It's hard to stay positive after battling addiction, only to be struck down with serious illness after all the hard work. I'm very bitter about that Bill, really pees me off. 👊👍

It was over some cowards bird , Dave Turners ex bird he was a regular visitor to the Kentucky on the east lancs road someone was in Walton park watching him outside his mams on moor lane in his car and heading left off Queens drive on to Walton hall avenue then ringing Turner who was waiting for the call the car a Skoda and driver were on a waiting period the call came in and they knew from his movement he was heading to the Kentucky they had a 20 minute window, the gunman sneaked up his side and popped two in his head , simply because man on man he would have done him and his firm probably on his Todd , a cowardly act , anyone who uses a gun instead of his fists is a shithouse end of!

That lifestyle usually ends in one of 3 ways, Death, Life in prison or if we are very lucky - Recovery!. Mikey Wright was one of the many individuals who lost there life to the addiction Lifestyle. You're one of the very lucky ones Billy, you are now in recovery one day at a time. Billy, you don't have to ever go back to that Lifestyle. What I find crazy about life is the circles you end up taking. No matter what you do or where you go you always end up facing your past in one way or another. Good or bad. That's why I like the saying "be sure your sins will find you out" and "what goes around comes around" or "what's yours won't miss you".
Billy,he might have been a decent boxer,but he was a great footy player,played with mikey on Saturdays,,he was really good,well worth a gamble in the lower echelons of the leagues,but as you no,more money in what he did,unfortunately..and he wasn’t a hot head on the pitch,,just a good kid, Love the pods mate,,keep them sharp.

I used to play against Mikey Wright years ago in the Scotty road league. He used to play for a team called Stanley park. Their whole team and their followers would just try and intimidate you the WHOLE of the game. Plus the refs and linesmen. He was a good player though but I’m glad turner put him to bed cos he was a bad bully.
