When you commented on that house in Stonehill Street, what did you think and feel when you saw it Billy? You’ve come so far and done so much since then, good on you lad; well done. 👍
Thank you so much to the man in your video who highlighted the fact that Liverpool FC do very little if anything for the local community. Liverpoo FC and their corporate skullduggery are largely responsible for the area deteriorating over time as it has by buying empty buildings and leaving them empty, this in turn decreases the value of property in the area so the 'Mighy LFC' can land grab on the cheap to extend the stadium. What they did to the people in Kemlyn Road was appalling.
Right on the button mate. Buying up properties around the ground and leaving them to rot so the other residents, many life long are forced to move out. Disgraceful what they have done to the immediate area around the ground to make a few more quid for themselves.
I am going to view this later. Saw a bit of the piece and takes me back to when the place was vibrant, then it was emptied by the council, and boarded up houses, massively so, street upon street. I look forward to see if this has changed since the early 90's. I lived opposite Stanley Park
Great Vid Billy, made me sad, you standing outsjde the house I was born to 75yrs ago, 43 stonehill st. I have lived in Canada for 50 years. Still have Family living around Breck Rd. all true what they say, no one sharing the wealth.
Sad and depressing. I thought the Stadium redevelopment was approved on the grounds of a much needed cash injection for the surrounding area? Instead, looks to me that some interested entity is accelerating a dystopian surrounding area to bring the cost of property down.
Anfield, along with several other suburbs in Liverpool, is an absolute shithole. Liverpool Football Club and Liverpool City Council are responsible for this, 80% of the people are good people though. He is 100% correct on the football club though. Those terraced houses opposite the garage have been boarded up for 20 years. 20 years directly outside the ground.
I despise FSG but LFC is a football club. LCC and Wminster are responsible for this. If a Wembley of the North was built in Anfield (and if LFC was fan owned) this would change gigantically for the better. Infact a Wembley of the North alone would have a huge effect.
@@RS-xx9ve What? If there was a Wembley for the North it wouldn't be within 10 fucking miles of Anfield. L.F.C have owned vast swathes of homes and properties around Anfield for over 60 years. Sounds like you have no idea what you are talking about. They own derelict land all over the place
They aren't able to courtesy of Fat Joe and his Keepmoat mates. LFC wanted to build a Wembley of the North with transport links, a covered area for concerts large and small, and world class sporting events. But right now, the site is still suffocated on 2 sides and has a load of crap built on 1 side. LCC need to get their act together. And FSG need to get their hands in their pockets.

Disgraceful what they have done to the immediate area around the ground to make a few more quid for themselves.
yeah them Americans really love there football 😂😂😂😂UTF
Talking rubbish
You think Everton are gonna leave county road in a boss state when they leave goodison? Hahahahha
yeah
I am going to view this later. Saw a bit of the piece and takes me back to when the place was vibrant, then it was emptied by the council, and boarded up houses, massively so, street upon street. I look forward to see if this has changed since the early 90's. I lived opposite Stanley Park
Great Vid Billy, made me sad, you standing outsjde the house I was born to 75yrs ago, 43 stonehill st. I have lived in Canada for 50 years. Still have Family living around Breck Rd. all true what they say, no one sharing the wealth.
The Scouse Sloth will love this Vid Bill 🙌💯
Keep them coming Billy great Content 💯💯💯
Sad and depressing. I thought the Stadium redevelopment was approved on the grounds of a much needed cash injection for the surrounding area? Instead, looks to me that some interested entity is accelerating a dystopian surrounding area to bring the cost of property down.
Could it be gentrification in effect
@mohsdef Yep make it so run down, then buy it up cheap.
This proves my point about having a world famous football club in your city, they put nothing back into the community.
That’s just a excuse
You have no idea what your talking about,I'm a blue..this is political not about the club.
@@grahambailey-wj4rq ???
@@grahambailey-wj4rq you'll never walk alone, or live in a decent home. It's up to the council to tax Liverpool football club a realistic amount and ring fence that money for the community.
Hi Billy, thanks for your vid. Wow Billy, how depressing is Anfield?. If the truth be told it's the same in Kirkdale and Everton mate. Those Areas have received very little if any funding from Liverpool City council, and by god does it show!. There's so much poverty in those areas. There's alot of addiction and crime aswell. They have been forgotten about and left to rot!. Out of sight and out of mind!. It really is sad Billy. Anyway Billy, thanks again for your vid. John. 🤔👍

Hit 60K followers there Billy lad ! Nice one, well done 👍
That much wealth next to that much poverty is disgusting but it reflects this society and the greedy corrput elites running it. People need to start voting for independents from the community who care about the people and understand their needs. Waiting for corrupt career politicians to solve these issues isn't going to change anything.
Area needs refurbishment, club doesnt give a damn. But its not a red v blue thing , although Efc does a bit more for the city, the area around Goodison is just as bad. Was gutted when they built new houses opp the kop when maybe demolishing houses an creating more of a green space around ground may help.
Not a bitter then Billy haha 😂 love your content mate, it's all real and straight from the heart 👍
I`ve been going since late 80s, i actually think its much better now than its ever been in the Anfield area
Shame to see such run down areas.. Only been to Liverpool a couple of times but what a fantastic city, the honesty of people is first class
Aw bless ya Monty so glad you had a positive experience of Birmingham it’s not the city it used to be but the important thing is you experienced the friendliness of us Brummies
Thatcher hated Liverpool for some special reasons. My best for UK to come out of poverty is to visit sri krishnan temple in bugis junction in singapore. Its a very powerful temple. Please tell your clan rich men to come here and pray and give food for the people outside the temple. Remember the name sri krishnan temple, singapore.
06:16 That building has just sold at auction for £143,000 - can you believe that,
I’m a gas engineer, I live in Scotland and recently worked on a social housing contract around Liverpool. Was there for 2 months, loved the city, although a lot of areas were run down the people are amazing and I never had a bad encounter with anyone. I worked in every area. Scousers are the salt of the earth. Really enjoyed my time working there
Used to work with Lee. He was a sound lad. Not seen him for years I hope he's doing alright.
Just around the corner of One of the wealthiest clubs in the world, where the often talked about special community Spirit of the Reds. Thank you❤

they meant levelling down
Unfortunately like a lot of us at some point in our lives. We believe politicians.
We as a country we need to stop sending money to third world countries completely and sort out this country.Areas like this need massive investment..that looked as if it was nice once ,now it's just worn out.
Moved to Anfield 11 years ago from West Bromwich, you all say it’s a shit hole and run downbut I promise you if you were to spend a week in West Brom you’d realise that you have it better than you realise. You’re making a video showing how shift the area is supposed to be but you only focus on the empty buildings. Not once do we see litter blowing down the streets or bin bags & mattresses dumped on grass verges like in and around Birmingham. Why dont you try making a difference and promote your city instead of chasing likes and subscriptions.
I've seen some videos of Birmingham. Looks rough as fuck.
@@TheRealMike1976 it is, as well as dirty. I never really noticed it when I lived there it was only after I moved away then went back to visit that I realised how bad it is.

Yes John I remember it well only lived up the road😊 Used to go there for a game of pool before going the Quad in Bootle every weekend. Good times✌️
That's where me mum grew up. She has mentioned Breck Road before. Such a shame to see that the council leave places to fall apart. 🙄

Anfield has always been a dump, the council or Liverpool fc don't help the local community which is a disgrace
I was shocked by Anfield it used to be normal working class like Old Swan but it has gone south
Easy to blame LFC and not the council or the locals.
The worst part of Anfield is actually those new builds. At least the old stuff, poorly maintained as it is, has character and quality. New stuff is just ugly, completely unsuited to the area, and a testament to shady Fat Joe and his mates at Keepmoat. It wasnt redeveloped it was DE-developed.
As a Villa fan I always had a great affection for Liverpool supporters. Friendly city too. But come on Liverpool FC. Build the infrastructure around the club to support the community that have made you the giants you are.
Used to go to Taffy's barbers roughly where Lee lives. Anyone remember that place?

I lived in Anfield for donkeys years, I lived in granton road, the community was boss, they forced us out to knocked all our houses down to make the ground bigger, wouldn’t mind our street was opposite Sam dods they destroyed the community ye know, it’s never been the same, makes me sad watching this video, we kept it nice, everyone had nice houses and all the mums would sit on the front while all the kids would play, sad to see it like this
Does Liverpool FC actively want the area around their stadium to become run down so that they can buy it all up and expand?
It’s great idea for the shareholders who don’t live anywhere near the team they own.
So many beautiful old Victorian buildings could have been revamped. Instead they were replaced with tat. Meanwhile the stadium which could be a saviour to N Lpool is still being strangled because the shady mayor was an Evertonian and too pally with Keepmoat. Shameful.
Bought up on St Domingo Vale. Moved away from the city 23 years ago when I was 20.
Still get back to see the fambo and to get to the game nown again. It’s never been the most affluent of places but fuck me it’s is bad as it’s ever been.

Is that true what he says? That EFC put back into the community, but LFC don’t? Isn’t it more a council thing? Was visiting Liverpool in November, I’m from Swansea. Got to say the city centre is spotless and vibrant, but go a few miles out and it’s run down and dilapidated.

It`s a labour run council, ever thought it maybe them? did this deprivation start after labour lost the government 14yrs ago? NO! will it rejuvenate the area when they get back in this year? NO! get out of your narrow minded thinking and wake up! proportional representation in politics not first past the post elections will be better but idiots still think they`ve got a democratic vote when they choose labour or tories, they are not working for anyones interests other than globalist/wef/who/un/ pharma/big tech organisations, or as i call them, CROOKS...
