  • I set out to make this film with the aim of it simply documenting a ‘day in the life’ that could come across as quite ordinary and routine in the content, of waking, getting dressed, eating breakfast, shopping and walking by the sea and with a beautiful backdrop of a seaside town and stunning architecture. But with the addition of the intermittent screaming shots underwater this starts to make you question what is reality and what is simply imagination from disguising feelings, a sense of despair; as on the outside everything appears to fine, but the inner thoughts are evident throughout the narrative of the film.

Ahh to be or not to be released from this gris mortal coil, that is the question. The visuals (especially the beach) and the music at the end were lovely.

Flora reminds me of the lasses in Picnic At Hanging Rock.
