I’m a cozy minimalist. I moved from a very cluttered (not my stuff, but roommates) 1800 sq ft home, to an 850 sq ft one bedroom apartment…which I still feel is too big. So I get what you said about your current home.
I found your channel due to a search about Fumio Sasaki. I appreciated his book although I think - for me at least - he takes things to an extreme. I’ve been through an evolution - to know I could live with as little as he has (which allowed me to leave everything behind to take overseas assignments with a couple of suitcases and a box of books and papers). But then when building a home to know that I appreciate a new plant bringing the beauty of nature into my room, even if that means cleaning involves (1) pick up plant; (2) clean floor; (3) put back plant rather than (1) clean floor. But the mental release of knowing I don’t need any of these things to be happy, that is priceless. So I don’t live like Fumio but knowing I could has been liberating. If that makes any sense?
That makes a lot of sense! I love that! Maybe it makes you appreciate the things you choose to have even more. To see the beauty in them, not the burden 🤗🌿
Minimalism is the method which creates the awareness in the mind of the people. These types of modifications customarily enable everyone to make the humongous progress in the life. It reshapes with the time. Once upon a time, I used to make the collection of some stuffs during my school and highschool periods. However, it has reshaped with the impact of my age, getting rid of the redundant stuffs, decluttering a part of the areas and fields at my home. Additionally, smoothly making the most authentic selections within this stage in order to form a definite order. I am utterly impressed by your this post, enjoying each section of this video. Cheers from Turkey!
@@Delala Never achieved! Lol. Getting rid of excess stuff is one thing, but one of the things I find most difficult is to *stop buying* 😟🤪 (Btw, it's relisten, or, listen again -- one or the other, not both 😁👍) ...except* we pay the rent
I came across Goodbye Things book and your channel. Do you have any tips for dealing with paper clutter? Study notes, documents print outs I want to keep it all! and I don't.
