We have one of these in our home. It has power but will not go up and down. We were told it still worked perfectly in the late 90s but the home sat empty for a couple years and it didn't work after that. Can you tell me what we might need to do to get it working again. We have found very little online and know it would need to be serviced, of course, but just knowing that it is worth paying someone to come to our rural area which is about 5 hours one way from a major city with an elevator company would be great before we begin the process.
Without actually seeing it, it would be hard to tell. These appear to be simple electrically, but I haven't had the opportunity to look at one outside of this video.
Hi there! We have the same elevator in our home and just encountered a small issue with the control buttons inside. Any chance you can connect your previous home owner and i?
Any information for this I am restoring an old historic house with one of these in it and I need the door latch mechanism and having a hard time finding parts.
I personally cannot provide any information about this elevator except for what is shown in this video. If you would like to see the owner's video of this elevator you can check it here (ua-cam.com/video/xhrVZU99zbw/v-deo.html).
UA-cam did very well at notifying me about this...
The elevator is beautiful!
I'm jealous!! I wish I could have an old elevator in my house like that!! :D
Wow! That is amazing!
This was truly awesome!
I remember seeing the original video [most likely] by the owner a while back! It’s very amazing!
Wow!! Everything about that is amazing!! That little motor sure is doing a lot of work. Any idea what the ratio is of that gearbox?
Now that is sick!
They must be rich!
What an epic lift!!!!!!
