This was written after Hurricane Katrina. They went to Louisiana after and were disappointed to see how things were being handled. It's a beautiful song. This song is even more amazing live.

Tnx for reacting to this song. It's one of LP's underrated songs but longer tracks. Your thoughts on this song is actually pretty spot on. Some say it's about Chester and his relationship with his first wife but more people say it was inspired by the events of Hurricane Katrina. Either way it's a great song and one of my fave LP songs. Wish you'd react to any live version of this song instead though. I can assure you it sounds clearer and more beautiful. Oeras Alive 2006 or live in milton keynes are great examples.
Fil, loving the industrial like arrangement. Really like this track from the musicality POV. A great hook and interesting lyrics.
