I’m going to try to leave a comment on all of Nikki’s new videos telling all the ladies that they SHOULD NOT hesitate to buy the Life Book. Oh my goodness it’s just perfect! I am a seasoned cleaner and wouldn’t feel the need to seek out help in this area. I also am guilty of buying multiple planners each year. That being said, I had the planner in my cart and let it sit for a few weeks…I finally just bought it and I just adore it. I didn’t think Nikki’s daily schedule would be helpful to me, but oh how wrong I was. It just gives me so much purpose, organization and joy each day. And having two calendars per month is GENIUS!
This was such an inspiring comment, one I will likely highlight! Thank you so much for sharing this and it makes me so happy to know you have benefited greatly from the Lifebook 🌹
Nikki! I meant every word. Praying for you today…thanking the Lord for such a beautiful and feminine and Godly woman in this wild world! Please don’t stop making them!
Hi Nikki, I am one to fold my clean 🧺 right out the Laundry machine when it's warm. I cannot live with laundry on the floor or places it should not be let alone all wrinkled. This is why your everyday tidy system is crucial. My goal is to have a relatively empty dirty laundry basket comes the weekend so I can relax and enjoy life. You are so talented with video editing and camera shots Nikki. Keep up the job and inspiring us!. 📽 🎹 🎬
That's such a great practice and something to really take in for the senses. I didn't even get into that about the floor, although I know I have in the past. It really pains me to see clothing or things on the floor. I love that goal you have. Thank you for your encouragement about my videography, that's so nice of you to say 🌹
This is a wonderful series. I've been the lady of my house for over 40 years, and i'm learning that housekeeping with grace is actually calming, following your method. I love your knitted throw. It's lovely.
I have little ones and do a load a day… only I go by colour/ kind of fabric. That is how my mother taught us kids! And believe me, with three girly girls, I have a lot of reds/ pinks/ purples! I also hang dry everything and love to fold it just as it comes off the washing line - and it smells so good!
Yes, especially depending on the fabric. With polyester I learned, washing certain colors together is something I can now get away with. There are those things that I can't mix. Such a delight for the senses, thank you for sharing 🌹
@@TheLadyoftheHouse absolutely! On “Delicates Day”, I usually do several smaller washes! I only really buy natural fibres as several of my children have skin issues with the man made ones… and I find that natural ones feel so much better on my skin, too. That also simplifies the laundry!
Nikki, I just love (and very much relate to) your attention to detail and visual aesthetics. You reminded me of a saying I like to live by, "How we do anything is how we do everything." 🌻
This series has been so helpful! I have been slowly emerging from the years of having young babies as my last is turning 3 next week and have finally found the margin in my life to start implementing a more consistent routine. The place I started first was at least one load start to finish everyday. This made such a difference in the overall feel of my home and just my mental state knowing I was making progress everyday, those little wins of accomplishment everyday motivated me to do more. 💕🌷
Yes, things change rapidly with littles so figuring out a routine is challenging in those early years. Getting used to change has helped me with raising mine. I love that you started with that and that you see so much improvement 🌹
Only bringing in beautiful or quality items really does make laundry an enjoyable process. It's helped me to see it as a relaxing ritual where I can clear my mind.

Thank u so much...This ahould have been obvious to me ...but i mindlessly do my laundry the way my mom did...no offense to mom. OK Now i get it. Hopefully NEW SKILL learned!😊😊😊
Thank you so much for saying that you forget to check pockets. I still occasionally forget to check pockets. I can't tell you how much you have inspired me and helped me to get it together and be able to maintain my home, and make it beautiful. It took me almost ten years of being solely a homemaker, to finally start getting it into shape. I was doing well until covid, and the kids being home threw my routine over a cliff. I started to get that routine back, thanks to your videos and implementing a planner. I had a mental health hiccup this past fall, and it got worse. But now, while still a little cluttered, my home stays tidier than ever, and the clutter is slowly reducing. I had a friend over this weekend who hadn't been over in a while, and he told me it how much better it looks now. I don't think I will be able to go without a planner for the rest of my life. Even if I have to skip a day, there is always tomorrow. My son even has a planner now. He doesn't use it every day, but that's ok. Thank you so much Nikki!! 💖💖💖💖
I find it's something I have to continually work at and improve upon. This month I'm really working on my own distractions. I'm devoted to self-improvement which I realize is a lifelong process. Thank you for sharing these things. I'm so glad you had that encouragement from your friend. Planners really have a way of keeping us accountable and on track even when we have those missed days. I'm so glad you are using yours as well as your son 🌹
I do all the laundry on two days. Once at the beginning of the week and again on Thursday. This video came out at a good time. Our washer broke down two weeks ago and today our new washer comes today. So it’s been the laundry mat these two weeks. Went back to a top loader. I found that I don’t like the front loaders because my laundry room is also a hallway to the back door. Anyway I hope it comes early so I can get started. ~ Janet 😘
A laundry load is a good way to keep it down...we don't have room for a dryer here in England 🇬🇧 so that is a pain unless there is sunshine! Then ironing!
Hi Nikki l always wash my clothes separately from my husband's for the reasons you have said. He does empty his pockets but somehow something will sneak through. I love looking at my washing as well specially nice tops or blouses. The blue dress you have on really brings out your eyes really pretty. Thanks for a beaut video. ❤❤
I also have been meaning to let you know you have influenced me to get flats with a big bow on them and I am so happy you’ve shared your shoe collection with us because I feel so much more feminine having delicate shoes
Thank you for your kindness. I have not a dryer so in winter, it's very difficult to have place for one launder per day. But I will try your method in the warm season in order to not be overwelmed by laundry each week😂 Your advices are so precious. I'm waiting for august to order your planner 2024/2025. I use Hilary planner from old world home since January. It' very useful but effectivly I don't use it every day because I have not something to write every day. Maybe yours will be better for me. I will see.

I understand not having something for each day though. I think you will find the Lifebook to be perfect for not needing to write something every day. Hello Nikki, Thank you for sharing your system; I had no idea everyone did not grow up with systems in place. I bleach our Williams Sonoma kitchen towels & dish cloths but not our cloth napkins so this is a separate load for us . We bleach our bathroom white towels and washcloths also for health reasons and also bleach our rags in At separate load because they unravel. 😅 I like to hang my dresses, skirts, and tops to dry; I hang my unmentionables around the top of each hangar to keep everything in nice shape. Stripping our sheets on my laundry day and bringing them down to the washer is a good jump start on my laundry day; I make my almond milk latte and set out my 20 vitamins and enjoy this while reading & praying. By then, the sheets are ready to dry and I organize my laundry into zippered bags and pre-spot them. I do my husband’s laundry next zipping up all zippers, emptying pockets and pre-spot them for the 4th load. If feeling annoyed by all this to do, I take time to pray for my husband to have wisdom and safety as he works to provide for our family: perspective helps me take my thoughts captive as the NT instructs us to do.
