I do enjoy your videos. This is the kind of Okro stew I had growing up. I think this is how the Akuapems used to make their Okro soup but now most Ghanaians like slimy Okro soup just like the Ewes. Yummy.

Sister madam sent me here oooo,,,and now that I've found my namesake Samira, u are my new favourite now! I've usually made my okro stew this way, becks I think that's how the GAs prefer it. I still make the viscous (slimy) type too, but my mum, just like your mum, didnt like the slime either. I think it's a twi thing, and since mama was twi, I guess that's why, I'm not sure. All the tomatoes and especially the garden eggs have so much moisture(water) so that helps to cut the sline a lot! Thanks sis!

This definitely looks different from the okro soup, no slime surely and i guess the little or no blending makes it less slimy. I like the look when you dished it out, will be nice with rice 😊
Yes this is indeed different, same as the normal okro stew but with more tomatoes. And actually little or no blending makes it more slimy instead. The no slime comes from the addition of the tomatoes. Definitely nice with rice. Thanks sis 🙏🏾❤️
