So according to the B.O.E that turntable for 199£ would cost £2651 in 2024!...and that pocket camera..£400! and in 2024 a packet of cigarettes should cost £2.60 not £15!...and the steam iron should cost.....£146!!!
Are you sure about some of that?: £11 for the steam iron circa 1979 is about £53 today. a bit pricy but about right. the turntable about £1000! for a Pye that's still too much. 60 - 70 quid for the hairdryer and toaster! 5:01 Yeah, right. :-0
