My ranking
Rank 10: MMJ and Morfonica. Their music and band story don't appeal to me. Characters aren't particularly interesting either.
Rank 9 : Leo/need. I like some of their songs, but their mvs and characters in general are weak imo.
Rank 8: Pastel Palettes. Aya is adorable and Chisato's stare is the best sprite in the entire game hands down.
Rank 7: Poppin Party. Their music style is my cup of tea, also Arisa and Kasumi's dynamic is cute lol. Saaya is hella underrated, and her voice is soooooo good. Should be the main vocalist instead tbh.
Rank 6: I like HHW's happy chaotic vibe, some of their music are great too. Kaoru's fleeting and Kanon's fueeee are meme materials. The gag about Michelle never gets old.
Rank 5: Afterglow. Ran supremacy. Ran supremacy. Ran supermacy. Also Moca.
Rank 4: VBS. Kohane's voice is super soothing and adorable, An's voice timbre is superb, Akito and Toya have the best male voices in the entire game. Overall I love their music style and MVs. Rad Dog is one of my fav songs currently.
Rank 3 : Roselia and RAS. Roselia's gothic aesthetic, characters and band story are all top notch, really love their music style. RAS's MVs are in a completely different league, like I was SHOOK when I first saw the Expose Burn Out MV. A bunch of my fav songs are from these two groups. CHU2 is great and I don't care what everyone else says.
Rank 2: Wonderlands x Showtime. Their chaotic energy is even stronger and better than HHW. Love all the characters in this group so much that I am willing to swap the ranking with Roselia/ RAS even tho I enjoy their music more. They always cheer me up no matter what.
Rank 1: 25-ji. I don't enjoy their music as much as the others, but oh my God is their band story so emotional and meaningful. Watching them slowly overcoming their struggles is a really nice feeling, I hope Mizuki can grow past her/his/their/[insert appropriate pronoun] fears and open up to someone soon :').
Ena and her bro dynamic is so real and lowkey cute af lmfao.

That's a nice ranking. Also yeah Afterglow is definitely my second favorite band with thier "just as always" mindset with Roselia being first due to developing thier characters. Also Ran is best Afterglow girl.

12:I never liked Wonderland X Showtime that much, I love Emu and thier music tho but the story feels that it only is focused on Tsukasa most of the time.
11: Hello Happy World has the opposite problem. I like the characters (Even Kokoro and Hagumi) but thier music is not that memorable other than covers also I feel like HHW is better than WXS for making people smile.
10:More More Jump is a mix bag, while I like the characters and the music is ok, my main problem is Minori (being Aya 2.0) and the story is a bit basic compared to Pastel Pallets.
9: Raise A Suilen is an interesting case, while I like thier music, the characters being great and I relate to Chu² a lot, thier story seems to be too focused on Chu² also Layer/Rei is a weak vocalist character wise.
8: Pastel Pallets has to be underated, especially in thier band stories, I like the premise on what type of Idol each member wants to be and Aya's goal to become an Idol that gives dreams is admirable, thier music is just average but still a solid band.
7:I watched the anime and I kinda like Poppin' Party for thier simplicity, Kasumi has to be the most well written and adorable Genkki character that I've seen and her struggle of being the least talented of the group made her an interesting character, also I like thier band story 0 and 3 due to the involvement of the Owner of Space. Thier music is a hit or miss, but when they hit, it's really good (Returns being an example).
6: I really like Vivid Bad Squad due to them being unique. I also like the dynamic between Kohane and An and same can be said for Akito and Toya. Thier goal of surpassing Rad Weekend is basic but not that basic to be boring. My main problem with them is that thier music is a hit or miss to the point I want to ask them do they really want to beat Rad Weekend.
5: Arguably the most underrated band. Morfonica's unique style and music is always a pleasant to hear, especially Rui's Violin which not all bands don't use violins that much. Another reason is that I relate to Mashiro a lot as an introvert who isn't that confident and let thier insecurities consume them, the only problem I have is Nanami who isn't that great of a character.
4: Arguably best story in project Sekai. Not only thier music is relatable in a way but, most of the members of 25ji is interesting and well written.I kin Kanade because just like her I tend to overwork myself to accomplish something, I also relate to Ena as an artist who is struggling in the art world and wanting to be seen and While I don't relate to Mizuki that much in thier situation, I can feel some Sympathy for them. As for Mafuyu, I like her and see her as tragic person due to Her situation.
3: Personality my favorite group in project Sekai. Thier band story as a whole is tragic since trying to connect with your friend who you have a fight with is hard and a part of you wants to see them be friends again. Ichika is clearly best girl not only a Miku fan but is also striving to be special, Honami who deserves all hugs,head pats and Apple pies, Shiho who doesn't want her friends to suffer by being around her due to bad Rumors, and Saki who needs to be told not to push herself too much. The only problem I have with Leo/Need is that thier music is a hit or miss.
2:As stated above Afterglow is the second best band, thier music is fantastic, thier itsumodori mindset is admirable and I like the characters. Also while thier band story is underwhelming I still like Afterglow.
1: TBH Roselia is best band/groups in Bandori. Thier music is on a whole nother level and you can tell that they are actually serious on entering at the Future World Fes (Unlike VBS). All of the members are well written especially Sayo, Lisa and Yukina. Thier band story and events are just a fun to watch and it develops the characters well. I might make a thesis on why I like them so much

I kinda agreed with this list. Tho I put Roselia 2nd. Both Yukina & Ran’s vocals are too good, that’s why I rank them high. I only started project sekai so no comment, but so far I really like 25ji and VBS, but overall I still prefer bandori songs

11: HaroHapi (I don’t like most of their songs, in fact, I think they have one good original)
10: Reo/Need (I don’t think I like a single song of theirs? Saki+maybe Honami brings them this high)

8: PasuPare (I like idols but they’re just a little…Eh for me)
7: Morfonica (I like their music but their characters make them this low, I only like Mashiro)
6: Afterglow (This could be interchanged with Roselia depending on how I feel)
5: Roselia (Their music is good, but I can’t listen to it anymore. It’s all the same. Even Ringing Bloom is…okay on loop.)
4: Vivid BAD SQUAD (They’re here because everyone else is here)
3: 25 ji Nightcode de (Would be number one if Ena didn’t exist. She’s too much like me, but she’s so rude to Mafuyu, who I relate to on a personal level, really. So it’s like she’s stabbing me too.)
2: Wonderlands x Showtime! (I love them all, they’re second because MMJ is first)
1: MORE MORE FIGHT! (Ok, really MORE MORE JUMP!, but I wanted to say it. Airi and Minori might even be in top 3 characters, Airi is number two at least, while Mizuki is first. I don’t care as much for Haruka and Shizuku, especially Shizuku, but I still like them. I like every character in ProSeka, actually, except for Ena, as I mentioned. Anyway, back to MMJ. MORE JUMP MORE is an amazing song, I love it. Marsh Mary is probably my favourite out of every song in ProSeka, unless we count VS only songs, and then in might be Leia. There isn’t a song where they themselves sound bad, try saying the “chu chu” in dreamin chu chu yourself, it harder than it sounds.)
TLDR; Fuck Chu2, Fuck Ena, MMJ is best band
