Two other songs are, “Walk It Down,” and “Road To Nowhere.” I always thought of this song as being from the perspective of loving adults that want to play with a sleeping baby.

The first song of theirs I heard years ago was "Burning down the house". It blew me away. The sound of the drums are great, th ewhole reording is high quality. It was just totally different. Things got pretty progressive in the seventies. Almost too slick. They really got control of sound compared tp the sixties. Today, I'm not sure digital sounds as good as analog. It cdertain;ly gives you 1,000 timesw more control to manipulate the sound and song. I think a original recording on a studio quality tape recorder, transfered to digital to control the good sound and give it an edge, it the best sound.
I like all talking heads music.

One of my favorite bands for all of their albums. And this is a very late album for them but they are so creative and quirky and poetic all along their journey. And the music is always so simple but compelling. They are great live as well and there is that concert movie Stop Making Sense which is iconic. You could react to anything from that and it would be fantastic.
Check out their live version of Life During Wartime from that show.

The interesting thing about New Wave music, a lot of the musicians were fantastic and very talented. Unfortunately not a lot of the music was that good.
The best analog would be the commercialization of the 60's. The corporate marketing folks realized that accepting "hippies" was profitable.
The same is true with new wave for the most part its existence was simply to be a commercial product.
