  • Is it possible to open a private practice and do teletherapy ONLY? 💻
Short answer...YES! After making it through the pandemic, people understand what teletherapy is and how it works!
You just need to market that you do teletherapy services - tell other clinicians in your area, share on social media, and add it to website.
In your marketing efforts, sell the main benefit of CONVENIENCE.
We appreciate the perks of convenience and research has shown that people are able to make progress via teletherapy just like in-person services.
    Wales et al (2017) found..
✅ Results achieved through telehealth & in-person service delivery models were equivalent.
✅ Telehealth to be an effective way to diagnose & treat both adults & children.
✅ Positive results in the comparison of pre-intervention baselines & post-intervention production levels.
Teletherapy allows for SLPs and OTs to provide quality care, just like we do in person, whenever & wherever they and their clients happen to be! So, go share the good word with your community!
