- Lindsay and Turin's flight home from Arizona got canceled! Guys this could not come at a worse time, right before Thanksgiving! I don't want to spoil it for you so you will have to watch and find out how the day unfolds. Once the flight was canceled it left hundreds of people scrambling to figure out how to get home for Thanksgiving. People as you can imagine were not happy and many were in tears not knowing if they would make it home for Thanksgiving. Lets see if Lindsay and Turin make it home for the holiday...

Just watching the video of how you guys manage to get home, after so many delays, & final cancellation z how Turin helped to get the luggage of the lady to finally dry o 5hat drive home, it reminded me of the movie*s Plane trains & Automobiles, &,Unaccompanied minors.

This is my 25th year working for a major airline. It's never our desire to strand passengers due to cancelled or delayed flights. Justin, I have to commend you for your reaction of a difficult situation. Your right. Sometimes you just have to reboot and come up with an alternate solution. Your attitude is positive with admitting the setback but seeing it as an adventure is uncommon today but very refreshing. THANKS
Turbo going to get that lady’s luggage warm my heart and almost bring tears to my eyes. I feel like a lot of kids, at least where I’m from, don’t care about others feelings or care to reach out to help. You guys are raising an amazing boy.

Lando sounds like my daughter she gets so flustered with math, she seeks out help from her interventionist and teachers. Makes me proud she has that help but I like to see her try on her own.
Turin is such a great kid! I used to road trip with my son every weekend for fencing tournaments so I know how hard it is on them and he did a great job of handling it and keeping you company Lindsay!

Sounds like the bigger picture was that Turin was meant to be near that family to help them out even in the slightest. Of course when we see everyone's IG stories and the like we know you had an awesome Thanksgiving.
So sad your flight was cancelled. As a mom I couldnt imagine the feeling of not knowing the feeling of making it home for a holiday. So happy you could rent a car and get home that's so sweet! Turin such an amazing and sweet young man! You have a beautiful family! So happy you ended up having a beautiful Thanksgiving!

(Edit) p.s. absolutely LOOVED what Justin said about teaching kiddos to push through and how they are capable of so much more than they think. Dont get me wrong I understand Landon needs help in things but as a parent we just want our kiddos to know they can do it and to try their best and know we are their biggest cheerleaders. you both are truly amazing parents love watching your family and how close and loving you all are it's so beautiful to see. I'm a single mama of 2 (my daughter is 9 my son is 4) and I want to make sure they know how important family is even with our family being so small we call ourselves the three musketeers and I teach religious education for both their age groups and we go to church every Sunday and I teach/the girl scout leader for my daughters girl scout troop. I just love being involved in my community and helping others. Watching you guys is so refreshing because your so humble and kind and involved in your faith and family and community and it's so nice to see because so many now a days forget to stop and remember.

So glad you made it home save. My daughters and I call those adventures. Anytime we get lost or misdirect and to not get frustrated we just make it ANOTHER one if our adventures. Let's just say we have had more than our fair share of adventures but the stories we can tell their kiddos when they get married will be very entertaining... Bonding time is always a plus. Even for Justin holding down the fort was bonding time with the 3 at home. 💓

My parents and I usually wait up for family if we know they are getting in a little late too or my Dad would wait up for my Mom and I if it was the 2 of us going out of town. Glad Lindsay and Turin made it home safely. My Mom had that happen to us at the airport when we were on our way to India 5 years ago and a similar thing happened when we were on our way back home from India. It also happened when my Mom and I were trying to get home from Atlanta too several years ago.

Wow lindsay your a trooper im terrified to do over a 2 hour drive by myself i drove from texas to Michigan years ago it was me my best friend and 3small children it was the worst experience for me i hit black ice out of no where and flew off the free way we got pulled out the ditch by a tow truck made it to a hotel got up the next morning started driving as soon as we hit the free way we had a flat tire with no spare so we had to be towed to walmart my 3month old was car sick and constantly puking in her car seat it was just horrible so now i won't go on road trips that are longer then 2hours without my husband lol and turin your an amazing little boy hearing about u helping that lady melted my heart way to go 👍 im so glad yall made it home safely ❤
6 hrs is like tops for me driving. Even after 4-5 I start getting sleepy even if it's day time. Glad you were all safe first and foremost.
I love long drives!!! My favorite was Cali to Utah an 11 hr drive. I'd leave at 1 in the morning and drive until I got to SLC. My only two stops were to get gassed up. Just me driving and blasting my music! I loved it and I miss my long drives😔

I prefer driving over flying. I moved about 530 miles from where I grew up and love the drive. Used to do it in the middle of the night to avoid traffic.
I also torture my children with Christmas music and other antics (like doing a dramatic dance move or randomly singing songs in public). Glad you made it home safely Lindsay. Justin I am so happy to hear that you lift Landon up with his independence and expect it. I work with developmentally delayed adults and it’s a fine line we walk of helping/coaching to maintain each persons special needs while creating situations to encourage their desires and capabilities.

Fly DELTA !!!! They are the BEST!!! I should have also said that Delta went out of their way to get me on a flight for an event I needed to go to, and then they upgraded me to first class??? What airline does that? NONE. That's why I am big on Delta. I also wanted to add how nice it was of Turbo to go get that ladies luggage. You are AWESOME Turbo!!!

Last summer we were leaving San Francisco for Canada but it got delay the boarding time from 6:45 to 7:45. And when we got to the airport it got delay again from 7:45 to 9:50. And arrive to Canada at midnight!!

It wasnt technically canceled. They said there was another flight Wednesday they could have flew on but they would have got home too late for their Thanksgiving plans. Its still really messed up their flights were delayed but they werent technically canceled just moved to another day but since it was a huge inconvenience they still should have definitely been comped
