- This is my first collection video so far. It has grown over the years and figured it's the perfect time to show off what I have now. This will also mark as my longest video I've ever made. Bear with me here as I tried to give as much insight on each game. Hopefully it doesn't bore you guys too bad.
Some things I forgot to mention;
I have at least 100 or so PS3 games here. I'm not too sure at the moment since my friends are always borrowing a few.
The only games I've ever traded back to Gamestop as credit were Rock Band 1, 2, 3, Lego Harry Potter, and Guitar Hero: World Tour. Traded them in for Batman: Arkham Origins --they were old games anyways.

Ah, man. I absolutely HATE those situations! I hit rock bottom at one point and sold like 90 PS2 games like 7 years ago. It was either do that or eat.

Outleteon HD Each their own, right? Ratchet & Clank has always been a fantastic single player experience. I can see why it put so many fans in a position to spit on that game.
I totally agree about the direction of Black Ops, loved the realistic aspect of the first one.

First of all; Yes, these games are mine. I don't know why you would doubt that and why I would even lie about it. Why are you offended?
Second; GTAV Online was a glitchy, laggy mess when it first came out. I tried playing it for about a month and just gave up on it. It wasn't perfect plus I didn't have many friends to play it with to care.
Third; L.A. Noire is INDEED that huge with all DLC installed. The game itself has a install of 30GB. I have no idea why, but its an optional thing you can do to make the loads much faster. So, no, I'm not lying.
Do you remember dying in Batman Arkham Asylum? The Joker had some pretty epic phrases that the Joker would say.

Well like I said in the video. I never really intended on growing a collection this size. It took me about 4 or so years to get every game I actually liked and wanted to play.
Tips? Well, I could say that going through bins in Gamestop is the best option right now. Sales are going on selling games for like 5 bucks a piece. Collecting PS3 game now is the best option. Amazon, Ebay are other great places to look.

I don't know but ..the 3 games of uncharted are the ones that I love the most.I've passed the three like 2 times.each!!..I don't have many ps3 games...I have like 130 ps2 games like 10 ps1 games and like 30 psp games I need more for ps3 !!! lol

My first ever ps3 game was Cod Waw and it was BEAUTIFUL
I absolutely loved World at War! One of the greatest Call of Duty game they had made before it went to shit. Although, I did play the zombie mode for days on end. I would literally play it non-stop with a couple friends of mine when I was unemployed.
Sadly, I stopped playing and buying the DLC's because Treyarch wouldn't go out of there way to do a stand alone zombie game. Wasted potential honestly.

nepatriots77 I used to have a PS2 collection back in the day. Had about 130 games or so, but hard times fell when I had no money or job. Went to Gamestop with my girlfriend (her and I hungry as hell) and walked 15 miles.
After we got there and set out the games by the pile. The cashier ringed them up for trade in to cash and told me "It's gonna be 39 dollars". I traded in 100 games for 39 bucks. We ate at least :(
It has more footage that was not released in the original American release but other than that everything is still the same. Same gameplay same characters just more cutscenes.

Uncharted Drake's Fortune was my first PS3 game I own ! I LOVE the 2nd one it was my favorite and the 3rd one the ending was stupid it didn't end well to me ! Do you think the 4th one will be on PS3 & PS4 ?
The first Uncharted game was great for what it was. The second was obviously miles better than the first. The third was a tough act to follow but was pleasing enough that the ending didn't bother me too bad (Talbot was an asshole fight).
Uncharted 4 is obviously the PS4 gold mine. I highly doubt it will appear on the PS3 especially seeing the new gameplay footage. The scope and sheer size of the levels, details is already too much for the good ol' PS3 to handle. Think of it like Uncharted 3 but on a much, MUCH bigger scale.
Yeah I would say get 1.5 first and then 2.5 when it is cheaper. I just got 2.5 on Tuesday but I haven't played it yet

Are you still playing games? What do you think of this generation vs PS3? I just started going back and getting into PS3. So many fun games from this era.
@@Shynotic This was honestly the last great era for big games. Many developers pushed the PS3 to it's very limited capacity and yet made amazing titles. PS4 just didn't have that amazing gap neither has the PS5. Now we're stuck in yearly Free to Play subscription based titles.

I think I like the idea of a larger collection than the idea of playing the game with some titles and there are others I just haven't got round to completing like AC Black Flag

With the ps3 and xbox360 at the cheepest there gunna get you walk into game stop with a 100$ to spend and they got 4 10# games for 20 and you end up leavein with like 20 games. You go back a couple weeks later and its buy 2 get 1 free so you get a stack of the 15$-25$ games to get the third free.
After those 2 vists you cant catch up and you end up with a stack of games that youve never played befor.
I dont know about you but my mind feels at eaise that i have some games in the bullpen.
I would prefer to get both 1.5 or 2.5 hd remix. Even if your not a disney fan it's still a fun game to play if your a RPG type of guy then this game is for. It's a really fun game.
So what exactly is the difference on 1.5 and 2.5? Do they have more content than the original copies?
1.5 has the first kh and 2.5 has kh 2 get 1.5 first
***** Yes 1.5 and 2.5 contain the Final Mixes of the games, which used to be Japan-exclusive. The Final Mixes contain more cutscenes, boss battles, weapons, missions, etc.
KH 1.5 has KH1 Final Mix, Re: Chain of Memories (full game), and 358/2 days (cutscenes only).
KH 2.5 has KH2 Final Mix, Birth by Sleep (full game), and Re:coded (cutscenes only).

I think my first game was NHL 10 or 11, but i never got into it, so i bought my second game Modern Warfare 3 and it was best game ever in that time.
I have Modern Warfare 3 in hopes that they fixed everything wrong with MW2. Boy was I wrong lol.
The campaign was pretty sweet though. Don't think I'll ever buy another Call of Duty from Infinity Ward for that matter.

FPScounter That's a hard one to answer honestly. I'd say maybe like for 120 or so games I have considering that I bought 80% of them on sale for like 7-12 bucks each. I can round it up to like $700 maybe? Adding in on all the full priced games I bought. That's just my overall guess from the last 6 years collecting them. Which isn't so bad compared to other collectors who buy all these special edition ultra statue pack game of the year bullshit.

You know, I tried finding a nice cheap copy of the collection. I'm just not sure how the chronological order goes and if I'm gonna like it. I'm not a fan of Disney but love the Final Fantasy games. I'm kinda split on the decision.

my main issue is so many open world like games. Assassins creed is a series you got alot to do. I got them all but played the first and was like wtf pretty vast and lots to do. If i was 6 yrs old again everything would be great but what can you do.
I use to watch movies while playing sometimes too, on my psp or laptop or second tv etc while playing cuz i like movies too. (not collecting) and nowdays i like more watching tv netflix etc and a bit of gaming but will usually be on handheld. Idk, im finding it hard to get into a console game these days anyway, even when i do have time. Its like, id rather not

Yeah, its an investment to play open world games. GTAV was hard enough for me to get into because there was so much shit to do. I remember 100% every GTA game up until losing interest in the fourth entry. I just couldn't get into it, yet kids at the time thought it was the best one ever.
Mostly I play games that are linear, but good. The Last of Us was the best damn game I've played in years. Nothing complicated or the need to find hundreds of secret collectibles or side missions. Right now I'm struggling with Fallout 4 and all the insane content that lies within. Its overwhelming now!

Im considering f4, just becaus ei heard you dont need to play previous entries to get into it and since theres lots to do, seems cool. I need to play many games tho, so if i got that one, theres no way id ever finish.
Gta 5 im like 40-60% into it. Havent finished. Metal gear solid 5 was actualy sad to hear it was open world. Im like 10% into it and idk if i'll finish. I heard how it ends etc, its actually underwhelming being a long time fan of it. I expected more. Thats another thing some turn out to be disapointments and some you hear are and you wont play lol

Speaking of spoilers; I've had Fallout 4 ruined for me in a way, but it didn't really matter since there's multiple endings and factions to side with. No sweat if you know one ending anyways.
I guess you don't need to play the other Fallout games, but its going to be a HUGE learning curve. Might as well read about the lore of the story of Fallout 1-3. They're very good games-- F3 was a bit too linear but fun.

Sorry for the late reply, but no I don't. I buy games I'm interested in playing and if I like it enough, I'll consider going after the platinum. I'll only go for offline platinum since online trophies are a pain in the dick to do.

Oh I know. I actually just recently watched all the movies again. My opinion hasn't changed about the prequels which everyone mostly hated. Great films!
Eh, I strongly dislike the prequels, but I don't hate them. Like whatever you want. I'm more of an original trilogy buff even though those movies have problems too. But Star Wars is one of the highest grossing movies OF ALL TIME and it literally changed cinema. I love the new sequel trilogy right now and I'm very excited about Rogue One and Episode 8.

I'm intrigued about Rogue One more than Episode 8. Like, how close are they going to follow the old school style of the original trilogy? Will young Obi Wan Kenobi be there? How many years before A New Hope? I'm looking forward to it for sure!
I don't think Ben will be in it because the filmmakers stated no Jedi will be involved. Also, it's probably around 1-2 years before ANH. And by the look of the trailers and statements made. It's going to look extremely like the originals.

I see you put your games in alphabetical order.... except you put Dark Souls after Demons Souls. Funny, I thought about doing that too since it's kind of a sequel to Demons Souls, and you want them right next to eachother, but then I changed my mind and just separated the two games to keep it alphabetical, cause I didn't want guests to think I didn't know my alphabet. Nice collection.
On a side note, I have the same exact bookshelf as you for my games. Got two of those babies off Amazon. Great price (about $30) for a quality item.
Lcarpetron Yeah, I had to alphabetize them after having to search for what game I wanted to play --which I never thought I would do one day lol. Also, I put Demon's Souls and Dark Souls together just for the hell of it. It's basically a damn sequel, dude. Pretty much the same characters make a cameo like Snuggly the crow and that asshole Patches the merchant. My buddies basically see it the same way.
The shelf is by far the best shelf I've ever bought. Perfect size for a collection like this. I think I should buy another, but can't find it anywhere in any store. Amazon would be good I guess.

The way I get most of my games is carefully shopping online and Gamestop. I've paid for full priced before but only when I know I'll love and support the creators enough to do so.
By no means am I 'rich'. Practically anyone can collect so long as you're frugal enough like me and spend the extra cash on cheap games every once in a while..

Ureed 786 I honestly don't. The only wrestling game I'm interested in getting is WWE All Stars. They're main wrestling games are cool and all but I'm not into yearly editions like Madden, FIfa, MMA etc.

Honestly, shotgunning in COD games is difficult. VERY difficult to do when you're up against overrated SMG gun classes.
I was pretty fucking beastly in Black Ops, though. 1.71 K/D with a Stakeout shotty as my #1 most used. :D

Its fairly high priced, but not that rare. Found a copy on Amazon for like 25 bucks used. But extremely overlooked title that almost no one mentions for the PS3 sadly.

If you're a fan of old school Zelda games, you'll love this. Pays huge homage to games like Megaman, Mario, Castlevania etc. One of the most unique games to come out on the PS3.
If you need a game that takes you on a nostalgic trip to the NES/SNES days-- this is your cup of tea right here. :)

La noire?? How is it???
It's a great game for what it is. The downtown city remake of early 50's L.A. is what really impressed me about it. The interrogations are quite something to behold. Especially when you ask them different variety of questions -- Which I really screwed up most times and restarted.
The crime scene parts of the game was my favorite activity as a detective. You walk around analyzing, picking up clues and looking at the body themselves. At times you might overlook something or pick up plain garbage (which I did a lot).
That's when the game really got on my nerves. I, for one, can't stand NOT getting all the questions right. I have to do it. It just bugs me if I don't know who slaughtered the old man in the barn and who his accomplice was. For a perfectionist like myself the game started driving me crazy.
Like I said its a great game. Fantastic visuals, voice work, motion capture, and exceptional gameplay (plays like GTA4). I would recommend for anyone

Come on, dude. I try to be as clear as possible when I know what to say. So of course I was getting a little jumbled and was getting raspy lol.
The best I have ever played across all platforms is Fallout 3. Even though I ONLY played it on PS3. Figured it was that one game I truly loved on any platform. The sheer amount of content and exploration was groundbreaking. I think I wasted away about 300+ hours of gameplay alone. I usually don't play games for that long when it comes to offline, but this baby sure did it.
Now ask for my top 5? Well, here you go;
1. The Last of Us - Not only is the story great but the online was an awesome addition as well. Balanced, fair, and intense.
2. Demon's Souls - Haven't played a game with a reward system as great as this.
3. Uncharted 1,2,3 - Love the series as a whole. One of the best games everyone needs to play on PS3.
4. Twisted Metal - Unfortunately not a lot of people play this. For the diehard fans like me it was a welcome back for carnage. Especially the online!
5. LBP, InFamous, and God of War - I cheated but I couldn't leave these games out. Creativity, powers, and rage!

***** I'm sorry you felt that way. I never meant to talk down about the game and insult any of Hideo Kojima's work. I love the game, I truly do but there was so much more missing here. The amount of story to gameplay ratio was extremely one-sided. I love a good story, but wouldn't mind touching my controller more often than just watching cut scenes.
Another thing is the load times. I don't mind loading screens but holy shit, dude. Would of thought that Blu-ray discs would of made a difference in load times. I forgive it just because the game was so beautiful.
Nostalgia played a big part about this game. That and tying up most of the loose ends from each MGS game in the past. It was brilliant. Overall, I think the game was so big and amazing that it had to be crammed down enough to play on the PS3.

Never could get into them honestly. Didn't like the first one and my buddies recommend the second game. I'll probably do it one day.
