    This video is an opinion and in no way should be construed as statements of fact. Scams, bad business opportunities, and fake gurus are subjective terms that mean different things to different people. I think someone who promises $100K/month for an upfront fee of $2K is a scam. Others would call it a Napoleon Hill pitch.

Its such a disgusting habit that is very hard to break and leaves you at rock bottom. This is why I've never gambled and will never gamble ever in my life.
      Twitch streamers have fallen into the same addiction problem and are taking their viewers down with them. The bigger issue that none of them seem to be thinking of is that, when that sponsorship ends, you are left with a disgusting addiction that will result in bankruptcy and ruined life. Well, I think 'scam' is a more appropriate word than 'steal'. "Steal" implies that something was taken by force or was done while someone was caught unawares. "Scam" implies that some level of lying and deceit was pulled to get someone to give up something under false pretenses. Sliker lied about the circumstances to get people to give up their money out of their own free-will. You can't convince me that he thought he was going to pay 100% of that money back, assuming he had plans to do so in the first place (which he likely did not).

Obviously I know my loved one isn’t going to die (generally) because I lied, but to swear on someone else’s life, to me, is like the ultimate-ultimate way to prove I’m telling the truth and I would never say that, especially about my mother, if I knew I was lying. Sliker is not just a gambling addict, he is a scamming sociopath. He isn't truly sorry, he would not of stopped if he wasn't caught.
    Also, he isn't compelling at all. I can see right through his act. He's horrible at it honestly. Textbook sociopath I read like a open book.

      He's an addict. That's what all addicts do, that's addiction... It's not him being a sociopath, it's him suffering addiction, addicts will do and say absolutely anything to get their fix. Addicts CAN change, but it's a hell of a battle and I've been let down too many times to just take words at face value - I'll believe it when I see real action in a positive direction.

    What I love is the "how can you trust me to pay you back?!?" basically giving that as an excuse so he won't/can't. No trust needed to just pay back the money you took. It's a simple process.

    the moment Slicker went on to scam someone undergoing chemo and refunded only to cancel the transaction is when he should've lost any sympathy whatsoever, he's never going to refund anything

    The insidious thing about gambling addiction is that they're sure if they find enough money to go gamble again, they'll make back all the money they lost and be able to pay off all their debts. There's really no way for anyone to trust Slicker with money again, because it's going to be an uphill battle for him to spend the money how he says he will, and not go to the casino convinced that he'll make enough to pay everyone back.

  • @AnP865
    @AnP865 10 місяців тому

    Often when confronted, perpetrators instinctively present themselves as a victim, to try and elicit sympathy and get away from consequences and punishment. In this case Slicker was already presenting himself as a victim, in order to trick people into giving him money.
