I miss my hometown. Thanks 4 the ride along. I lived in Hollywood from 74-13. Haven't been back since. Been thinking of taking a road trip back down soon. A lot has changed, but much remains the same. Very cool video. Thanks again
I like that he always includes a dip in the water to allow the viewer to see what kind of water clarity they would be experiencing. I also appreciate that he doesn't sugarcoat anything. However, he is never rude. You can tell he's got a great sense of humor just from his narration, in case you didn't pick that up from his theme song, ja ja ja!
I am absolutely hooked watching your videos (especially Florida) as I visit family a lot there, hoping to find different places to visit. I am taking my Mom for her first time in January for two and a half weeks and then back again in July for 3 weeks with my partner. I think your videos are informative, perfectly edited and really make the viewer feel like they’re there with you. Thanks Robert for sharing :)
this is my first video I saw on your channel and I have to say, this was extremely informative and funny and honest. my eyes were glued the whole time. Thanks.
Found your channel today 09/12/16. The editings are perfect, footage quality on point, and the narration... is the best part! Congrats my friend, great work!
What possess me to watch these older vids 1,2,3 times? Unlike some you make every place look nice. The voice and esp. the music relaxes me. Feel like I'm there too . I'm not usually that soft. '
Great video Robert! I have to tell you another reason I enjoy your videos so much is your commentary. Where ever you go you always give interesting facts about the area where you're at. I love learning new things! So keep up the excellent commentary and I look forward to your next adventure! 😊
What a great video! Thank you! What I like about your travel videos is that you always seem so positive, yet realistic about things like traffic and weather. "It is what it is" says it all. I am going to borrow that line instead of dwelling on things that aren't so good.
What a great video what a great video I really enjoy your your your videos so in-depth and you're very well spoken and it's I really enjoy it thanks so much
I enjoyed the RV aspect of the show as well. I aspire to one day own a small RV with just the essentials. Great show! I will be tuning in to many more!
Thanks for a great video from The Netherlands. We have been to Hollywood FL several times. Nice to see all the places we have been to once again, as well as some places that changed a lot and some things we've missed out on and need to go back for.
So glad to see you traveling again, Robert. I so enjoy your videos and have watched all of them ... and love the one you made in Havana several years ago. Love your music, too, and your song "Where Is My Havana" touches my heart every time I hear it. Take care .... and see you on the road..
I watch this episode over & over! Relaxing (you have THE voice) fun! It helps me miss Florida less when I don’t get down as often as I’d like. Well done! 🇨🇦👍☀️🌴
Haha..you gotta go to Marker 88! I will cost a little over $100.00 for two with drinks but the food and view are great Robert. I miss Key Largo, it was so nice. I really regret not fishing. So I gotta go again. ;) Thanks for viewing my video's. It means a lot. David..
Oh, Robert I'm addicted to your channel. I've seen more of my state here, then in the 30 years I've lived here. I'll keep an eye out for the Minitini on the road. Great job!
Again, as always, just a great review. I know this is older, but in fact, as a local, we have never been to Hollywood Beach, the boardwalk to be specific. Never been a KOA fan. The last time, it was in Key Largo. They said we could set out tent up in between the playground and the showers, just a place they said there is a spot! We boo them every time we pass them, which became a 30-year tradition. No, we did not stay. We went to Jolly Rogers, and many times after that, but it has been years. Your Hollywood spot reminds me of it...!
Lived in Hollywood for a long time. Still have family there. Try to get to John Loyd Park when the tide is just before high. Then check out the jetty on the ocean side. Best time to see that. Brought back lots of memories. Thanks. Good Cuban restaurant on 441 north of the Boulevard called Las Vegas on west side of the road.
+TravelingRobert you might also want to try TY Park on Sheridan St. A little pricey, but a nice county park with full hookups & not far from John Loyd.
I really enjoy your videos! I live in Miami also but I love all your videos leaving Florida and seeing the whole United States something that I wish to do some day. I love watching you make es pumita para el café!
Thank You so much for showing my home town of Hollywood. Havent been there since the 90's. Lots have changed! Fun fact: Cape Fear with Robert De Niro was filmed in part at the Presidential circle and all around the areas. Also... I think it would be nice to show the audience Miami Jai Alai and/or Dania Jai Alai or even The Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood. Fun casino places to explore. Thanks again for the entertainment Robert!
Very nice videos! As a Florida resident, I always look for things to do and your videos are helpful. I always found Hollywood and Ft Lauderdale to be a bit more run down and crime-filled than I like to see in a good town. Drinking and beach are the two main attractions. Great videos and I admire your adventurous ways, you have a kindness and honesty that is very enjoyable!
Great job, as always! Lived in Pembroke Pines in early 2000s, spent many hours at Hollywood Beach. By the way, it's the beach BROADwalk, not Boardwalk. No boards, all paved. Sure do miss the South Florida weather and Cuban food. And I'll second the recommendation of Las Vegas restaurant. ¡Que rico!
Another enjoyable trip in the books.. Although I think the camp ground was more of a RV parking lot then a camp ground but it did what you needed it to do.. Can't wait to see a longer trip with your RV.. Thanks for sharing..
My favorite Florida Beach. I used to go there almost every weekend when I lived in Miami. Great food, music, sand and waters all within walking distance.
Live about 1-1/2 hrs north. I’ve never toured that area so thanks for showing me features like the Boardwalk. I’m also anxious to try the Heidelberg Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. Love German food. Be safe!
A very nice tour of this area. Excellent narration and documentary style. Loved it! Thanks for showing us small details like the nature segments, the road signs and scenery as you drive, and the police activity which says a lot about the drama in some places. Useful if you think of living there. This is an older video but still worth noting that the speeded up sections of driving made me car sick. Better to slow down the video and show less than speed up to show it all. Normal driving pace and edit out what is not necessary.
Just found your channel and this is the very first video I saw. I’m from Argentina and been living in Hollywood since 2012. The Lloyd Park is nice and also houses the NSU Oceanographic and Marine Science Research Institute. My daughter has done a lot in there. You also have the Ann Kolb Nature Center...you should go ! Specially in summer when you can learn about the sea turtles and saw them being released to the sea. It’s an unforgettable experience. Hollywood is trying to restore its brightness and starting to be a much more enjoyable vacation destiny. Definitely, you should come back (and don’t forget to take a look at the new Hard Rock 🎸 Hotel that’s still under construction). Will start following you. Thanks.
I love this video. I lived in Hollywood and Pembroke Pines from 1973 to 2011. I recognize all of these places you went to. The Johnson Street Beach area where you parked at the garage is where all the Canadians hang out. I used to live about a quarter mile from Oceanwalk (Hollywood Beach Hotel).
7:40 OMG I was at that exact spot, on December 26 2020! Came down from Delaware to visit family. Sat at a tiki bar and took a stroll down the broadwalk.
Next time you are in that area Rocco’s pizza is next to that bandshell on the beach (best pizza in FL.) and a little north is Grandpas bakery (featured on Diners, Driveins, and dives) on US1 in Dania beach. And next door is Swenson ice cream shop. An old time place with awesome ice cream. I used to live in Hollywood.
That’s my dream to have a nice camper van and living and traveling off the grid. Your channel is an inspiration to me. Thanks for sharing! I’m from Florida by the way. Graduate of the famous University of Tampa. Go Spartans!
I'm from Maryland but I spend a lot of time in Madeira Beach (Gulf coast). I'm not familiar with the Atlantic coast towns therefore I find Robert's videos extremely informative.
I absolutely love South FL and visit yearly. I was just in the Hollywood/Hallandale Beach area for the first time in May and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm seriously considering moving to SoFlo. Your editing & overall vid was great. Hope to learn more about FL & your other travels. I see a vid for St. Pete's, another gorgeous area in FL. Subscribed
Thoroughly enjoyed this, really nice to hear a real person minus all the frills and thrills perhaps enjoyed by a younger demographic. Also really appreciate your positive outlook on things! Fantastic!
You should also be making a food tour of the places you go & eat at ! Looks like you guys eat like King's ! I really liked the second beach you guys went to , it seemed a lot more laid back. Did you end up getting any sleep at that campground ? I bet you heard sirens and cars whizzing by all hours of the night eh ? Other than that it looked like a nice place.

+KonCheeki Thank you! Glad you liked it
Your idea of showing us places to visit in Florida is great!!. There is more than Disney to see. Keep on that line. Thanks Robert
+Jose F Zayas Thank you! Maybe I'll continue on the way north... Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Palm Beach...
Found your channel today 09/12/16. The editings are perfect, footage quality on point, and the narration... is the best part! Congrats my friend, great work!
+Chico Lino Thank you. Enjoy!

:-) Thanks Robert.
Your narratives are the best..❤ enjoy your videos so much. Thank you for making me smile today..
Great video Robert! I have to tell you another reason I enjoy your videos so much is your commentary. Where ever you go you always give interesting facts about the area where you're at. I love learning new things! So keep up the excellent commentary and I look forward to your next adventure! 😊
+Craig Sawyer Thanks man. I love doing the research, so I learn too.
What a great video! Thank you! What I like about your travel videos is that you always seem so positive, yet realistic about things like traffic and weather. "It is what it is" says it all. I am going to borrow that line instead of dwelling on things that aren't so good.
+southtxblues Haha, thanks!
Nice job Robert. We had no idea what Hollywood Florida had to offer. Thanks for sharing!
+Average Campers' Adventures Thank you. Me neither.

You always know how to have fun! ;) Thanks!! Love the new music style. I do love Florida.
+icollectstuffdude Hey I just saw your video from Mile Marker 88 and the 7 Mile Bridge.
Haha..you gotta go to Marker 88! I will cost a little over $100.00 for two with drinks but the food and view are great Robert. I miss Key Largo, it was so nice. I really regret not fishing. So I gotta go again. ;) Thanks for viewing my video's. It means a lot. David..
I love how you show the scenery and explain.i have seen other RV channels and they do not compare with yours. Thank you
Thanks!

+bill baio Thanks. I make sure to time the tides when I go, probably in about a month or so, and you're right, Las Vegas is really good.

Again, the best videos. Thanks for producing and posting.

Nice video of Hollywood , Robert, thanks, we will be visiting this Spring, you do sound a little like Antonio Banderas .
the theme song makes me feel like its a 1980s tv show lol
Live about 1-1/2 hrs north. I’ve never toured that area so thanks for showing me features like the Boardwalk. I’m also anxious to try the Heidelberg Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. Love German food. Be safe!

We may be moving here next year for my work, so I just wanted to see if you’d done a video on this place. Sure enough. Keep up the great job!
Just found your channel and this is the very first video I saw. I’m from Argentina and been living in Hollywood since 2012.
The Lloyd Park is nice and also houses the NSU Oceanographic and Marine Science Research Institute. My daughter has done a lot in there.

I have to go to Hollywood more often... I was actually there a couple of weeks ago to meet up with a viewer, but didn't take any video
+Gregg Jordan Cool. I used to work in Pembroke Pines but never ventured east to the beaches. Thank you!
Gregg Jordan , Sounds like me. I lived there from 1974- 2013
Eric Arem Is Hollywood a safe and fun place to live at?
@Gregg Jordan You probably remember Big Daddy's on Johnson St.
@@Logoned : Yes, of course. Next to I-95 and across the street from Winn-Dixie.
Great video, we always love your shows
7:40 OMG I was at that exact spot, on December 26 2020! Came down from Delaware to visit family. Sat at a tiki bar and took a stroll down the broadwalk.

I'm from Maryland but I spend a lot of time in Madeira Beach (Gulf coast). I'm not familiar with the Atlantic coast towns therefore I find Robert's videos extremely informative.
I'd like you to show the interior of that RV and show where you take a shower, do laundry, where you sleep, etc
You are so nice and pleasant Robert! Thanks, love you!
Great video Rob now I know where to park when I go across the bridge! Thanks!

Thank you so much! South Florida is nice, way too hot in the summer though. We really liked St. Pete, and we were just in Palm Beach last weekend.
You need to check out Palmetto, Fl. I love the little town on the Manatee river. Across the river from Bradenton.
+Mike Stone I might go by that area again in the summer.
This was a nice video. I ' m home stuck in bed after surgery. How wonderful to be able to get out and see the beaches. . . Thank you !

At 5:53 you say, "Pelican fly, FLY PELICAN!".....I'm guessing I'm the only viewer to recognize this line from the movie Scarface. 😊 Great video!

+RawFoodRock Pronto. We continue exploring.
I'm impressed....lol..very good..good little tunes..
+skipp Coco Thank you
nice music editing and all, love it
You should also be making a food tour of the places you go & eat at ! Looks like you guys eat like King's ! I really liked the second beach you guys went to , it seemed a lot more laid back. Did you end up getting any sleep at that campground ? I bet you heard sirens and cars whizzing by all hours of the night eh ? Other than that it looked like a nice place.
+Kimber We slept ok. A little bit of traffic noise but it quieted down later. I'm thinking of doing video food tours, campground reviews and an RV cooking show, but I don't have the time to do all that yet.
I’m heading there in the next few week. Any recommendations? Thanks much appreciated.
Have a great time

Great program I am now a subscriber ❤️
Love your videos. Have you ever traveled up to New England?
It's very beautiful up here.
Not yet. I'm thinking next fall
If you are coming to see the foliage I highly recommend seeing New Hampshire and western Mass. In the summer Newport Rhode Island and Cape Cod.
