Dear melodysheep, I as a student who have watched your videos since 3 years ago from primary; then secondary and tertiary upon highschool; want to thank you for creating these videos that not only enlightens but also inspires me. Every second of such musical and melodic creation; is to me; not just a great experience of happiness and sensation for both education and learning; but also for shaping individuals both internally and externally. Thank you for all your videos you've created for all had shaped me with the will of curiosity, enthusiasm and wonder especially in the world of science. May you be just as successful as much as now in the present and to the far future. -Zaw*
Trace Wikes Before this one, they hadn't posted one since 2013 (which was "Monsters of the Cosmos"), so I thought Symphony of Science was dead. I am glad to see they've made a comeback.
+Morgan Quell (Weenus from Venus) Oh! Ok, well that clarifies the comment. Thank you for answering me. I'm sure I would have felt the same way if I had known of them earlier.
I love it how melody sheep makes the lectures in which many people find boring interesting. You have combined my two favorite things in one, music and science. Thats amazing talent. I love professor Brian Cox btw he's amazing.
Hasti Nvb Ah, nice to meet you again, here on UA-cam. We already had 1-2 conversations in the past (about science and Mr Cox)^^ I have the same opinion, by the way
You sir should get Inspiring Imagination Nobel prize for such inspiring work you have done so far. If there is no such thing as 'Inspiring Imagination Nobel' yet they should found it for ya.
Melodysheep - proving once again that there truly is poetry in the real world - to me, the Symphony of Science is like hymns of awe and inspiration - they are psalms in my church of reality....
Your videos have combined my two favorite things: Science and music. Thank you, John. Please continue to create more videos using quotes from these brilliant and humble scientists. I never get tired of them.
Light truly is a wonderful thing. It is not something we can hold, yet we can touch it. You cannot create it, but you can take it in. It is something that we use every day, yet at times there is none. It is also light which brings us life, but it can also extinguish it. Light is the most fantastic entity in the universe IMO.
So when I look at a star in the distance, I'm actually traveling through time because in the present moment that star is actually dead and it took many years for the light to reach my eyes...thAT IS AWESOME
Depending on it's age and distance, most stars in our milky way will be very much alive as the farthest ones are not much over 100 thousand light years away
Interestingly, this is even true with our sun, we're not seeing our sun's light instantly, it takes over 8 minutes for our sun's light to reach Earth. Or if you look at Saturn threw a telescope, it takes around 2 hours for light to radiate out from Saturn, bounce off of it, and return to Earth, and that time changes depending on where Earth and Saturn are in their orbits compared to eachother, everything we see around happened long before we could see it. Mind bending concepts like this deffinitly make astronomy and Astrophotography (taking pictures of Planets, nebulae, galaxies and stars) fun to learn, also makes you realize how horrible it is when nighttime light pollution makes it near impossible for a lot of people to see the beauty of space right above them
It's so Nice to hear a modern song that isn't about "oh my boyfriend/girlfriend left me" or "I Love my boyfriend/girlfriend, aren't I great" . Great work!
Thank you so much Melodysheep. I have been a big fan for years. I will show your videos to my children. What you are doing is important beyond words. Thanks.
WOW, you are definitely getting better at creating scientific music. I have been listening since I was about 10 years old (4 and a half years ago!). I would love to thank you soo much for grabbing my attention in the feild of science and making me read and learn more about the feilds of science and has led me to the top of the class for science and mathematics.Thank you :D
Oh wow! Two of my favorite guys on this planet coming together in this thing of beauty. My heart just exploded!! Thank you thank you Brian Cox and John Boswell for all you do. Love and respect!
Always love watching your videos, they fill me with inspiration to go out and pursue projects of my own. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos.
I'm in a gigging rock band and after every show I listen to your first SoS release on the long drive back home at 2AM. I find it very therapeutic after a night of performing, thank you for that.
Before our city was as light-polluted as it is now, before our backyard trees grew just a little bit too tall, I'd chase Orion through the winter night skies. I'd kneel there in the snow, searching for just one tiny fan of light hidden in the darkness. There were larger telescopes than mine and better time-lapsed photographs of the nebula I was looking for, but there was something about seeing it directly for myself that spoke to my heart much the same way as this music.
I can't tell you how happy I am that I found your beautiful channel. We share that common love and interest in space, the universe and if we're alone. Thank you for all of your amazing videos!
Your music is my new favorite genre.
Very cool that he makes you love science and stuff by his music

Nice sharing. I wish this gerne of music will be the lullaby for all children.
Man, I thought Symphony of Science was dead. So refreshing.
Morgan Quell I second that!
+Morgan Quell (Weenus from Venus) The next paragraph had to be written.
+Morgan Quell (Weenus from Venus) May I ask what you meant? I am new to Symphony of Science, and they bring new joy into my imagination.
Trace Wikes Before this one, they hadn't posted one since 2013 (which was "Monsters of the Cosmos"), so I thought Symphony of Science was dead. I am glad to see they've made a comeback.

Melodysheep - proving once again that there truly is poetry in the real world - to me, the Symphony of Science is like hymns of awe and inspiration - they are psalms in my church of reality....
There is a lot that the universe appeals to us and these videos amplify those appeals
I don't know why, but these songs make me so goddamn emotional. Science is so beautiful
You put my awe of the cosmos into a tidy, beautiful and elegant 3:56 minute soundbite.
Your videos have combined my two favorite things: Science and music. Thank you, John. Please continue to create more videos using quotes from these brilliant and humble scientists. I never get tired of them.

Well done (again) Symphony of Science!

Jojo btw the other reply is correct.
But there are some stars that already died in our galaxy so the comment and the first answer are partly true

True.
A universe full of beauty, mysteries, histories, we can only contemplate and try to understand with our limited knowledge.. Wonderful Video!!!
Beautiful a start of making science emotional, spiritual and inspirational for our way of life.
It's so Nice to hear a modern song that isn't about "oh my boyfriend/girlfriend left me" or "I Love my boyfriend/girlfriend, aren't I great" . Great work!

John Boswell back to what makes him the very best!! Thank you, sir!
