- Here's my 3 tips on which needle felting tools to buy first when you’re an absolute beginner to needle felting and which tools you might already have. I’ll also talk you through my experiences of different wools, needles and mats.
If you're a beginner to needle felting this will help you decide which needle felting tools to spend your hard earned cash on and which you can buy at a later date, once you get the felting bug!

I use a pillow as a needle felting mat.
That's a great idea, but I would use an old pillow case as it might get wool stuck in it and some holes? 😊
@@juliesfeltedfriends I honestly just use a pillow that I couldn't care less about so that if the stuffing inside gets felted I don't care.
