- While Brightline's been grabbing all the headlines, there's another commuter rail service in South Florida with higher ridership and a much longer history. This video is all about Tri-Rail, and what we in South Florida can do to make it better.

I don’t live in Florida but I encourage everyone to reach out to the cities and FDOT to get these expansions built and lift zoning restrictions around stations. We got some bills passed here in Phoenix regarding TOD. Good video and best wishes

I feel like South Florida needs east west rail lines but I guess its probably better to fix one thing at a time.

tri rail needs better bus connections cant lie for a commuter rail station in a suburban area there needs to be major bus interchanges at every station
Imagine a high speed line from Naples to ft Lauderdale. If it went along I75 it could probably reach truly high speed status since there is nothing in that area. Could make commuting from west to east (or vice versa) super easy with like 30-45 minute ride from one side to the other. Connects FGCU/could be commuter rail project. Connect it to the tri rail and you would be half way between either palm beach or Miami all without driving.

Why can't highways and trains exist together ?
There’s a map with proposed stations for a proposed brightline commuter network, would that be in conflict with the tri rail coastal link network?
