Oh damn, having Father Alvin as a fakeout “Knight” is a genius move! And Undyne look badass; makes sense she’d be here since the chapter’s super boss will likely feature the green soul mode.

That blue on her armor make a police style, and she having that crazy smile malso makes sense since she can't wait for some action in her job
In all honesty, I still think the Knight might not be the real final villain of Deltarune. If the infamous "Chess theory" is true, which I don't think it is, the Knight could just be a messenger while the actual mastermind is the Pawn.
Or the pawn could just be another puppet of the real final boss of Deltarune in Chapter 7

The way I look at the chess theory, yes the "mastermind" would be the pawn, but who has ultimate control over the pieces...? The chess player, or the GAME player, us. If this was any other RPG thisd sound stupid but this is Deltarune so it's not farfetched at all
That definitely makes sense, but it's not mutually exclusive with the Pawn being above the Knight. In fact, if you look at the other two pieces - the Rook and Bishop - They also have more potential utility than a Knight but less than a Queen since they can go as many squares as they want but only in either the cardinal or ordinal directions respectively, so if they are the next pair of chapter villains that only makes it more likely that the Chess parallels are in order of most to least "powerful"/important ending with the Pawn.
@@Ponera-Sama something interesting I thought up was as the pieces went down, the bosses of those respective pieces were more and more aware that they were... Well pawns. Playthings. Because Queens have the most "freedom" in a chess game, being able to move around like so, versus the pawn, where if you had a game of mostly queens and one pawn that piece would basically be useless.
So yeah, they would become more and more self aware to the point where the last one (the pawn) was as insane as a secret boss, if not more. So insane it starts to make sense. This knowledge, we know, leads to immense power as shown through Jevil and Spamton, and tbh they aren't that crazy yet they just KNOW they're code. Imagine what knowing you're code and being able to MANIPULATE that could do? Like youre so far gone from the game you might as well start messing with real world things like how the game works. ddlc stuff right there

I love this design for Alvin! (Looks pretty similar to my interpretation too) and the song slaps, as always. Well done!

something like this could work in deltarune,what if the knight we know isnt the *real* knight we should worry about? what if theres a much bigger enemy we should focus on?

You don’t even have a lot of Deltarune fan fictions, but damn, you have the best.
This theme is actually underrated! I can't explain how good it truly is.
I think it would be funny if one of the fan-made soundtracks for Deltarune are actually the real ones, and either Toby Fox or a music composer working for him is posting them alongside the many fake ones from other creators to throw people off.
Besides that, this was a very nice soundtrack and I loved how realistic the battle looks to what an actual Encounter in Deltarune is. Father Alvin looks epic, and I can't wait to see more content!!!

Well, toriel called the cops. Maybe kris left the door open so undyne could come in to help him. Kris does see undyne benching a car in chpt 2, so who knows how powerful she could become in the dark world

I wonder how would the weird route in this look? with noelle she suffers with helplesnes and her childhood friend and neighbour is the one manipulating her. while undyne Has no conection with Kris so she probably won't trust them
Perhaps she won't really listen to you as much as Noelle, but it will affect how she sees you?
For example:
Mercy results with initial annoyance, then she gets a favorable attitude towards you (similar to Undertale)
Genocide results with either eagerness (finally some darn action), or with concern, building up to maybe her standing in your way?
Neutral results with annoyance, but perhaps a slightly better attitude?
I think that would be cool if Undyne be like Susie, not respecting the player, and Susie would get angry with that and notice how annoying she was (I mean, she already know it, but she would notice even more, saying things like "I can't believe I used to act like her"

There’s a short segment where The Legend shows up. I think spending more time on it would work well to contrast the fast paced theme.
