Question: what do you know about Sasaki's recovery? ... to be honest I like his judo style !!
I read a intervew where maruyama said he wants to finish his career with a win, and he said after paris grand salm "it can't end like this" he also said he wants to win a word championships.

Really unfortunate that the Japanese fighters don’t get a chance to go to both the Olympics and Worlds. Abe Uta could have 6 worlds and 2 Olympic golds by this year if she went to both.
Unlike other countries Japan has so many great judokas in the same weight devision, it would be disappointing for everyone else if only one person is sent to all tournoments.
I really wanna see Saito win
He’s had 2 good fights with Riner the last 2 times but ultimately Riner’s experience won out both times. At least Saito went for it both times unlike against Granda.
tajima will take the gold at the worlds. he is a high class fighter and this is his chance.

Wow so he’s out of the Olympics then?
@@boonkondo5123 the 60 kg representative was between Takato and Nagayama to be selected at the 2023 Tokyo Grand Slam. They both made it to the finals but Nagayama won, so he's the Paris representative.
