My Height is 5'8 for reference.
I had those for years. I bought them in like 2013 or 2014. They are great shin guard and they will last you a long time. I switched over to Top King and Twins SGL-10s
are the twins and top kings better than the venoms?

Go one size smaller, top of the shin guard should sit right below the knee.
Size is definitely too big, but i do it with like a V at the back too, because that shapes around my calves better. Top kings and thai branded one are surely better though. Venum ones aren't thick enough for full protection. But Venum is much lighter and faster to move around.

As others have pointed out, you should be using a Medium. I'm also 5'8" and have no issues at all with my top rear inclosures. Your shin guards are too long for your legs and that's the reason the back inclosures end up too high up.

Im Not new to sparring, just Muay Thai sparring so in that sense I am a beginner, would these be worth the investment ? I was also looking at twins shin guards but I really like armored low profile sleek shin guards
These shin guards are a great investment. They are my everyday shin guards.

It’s going to depend how thick or thin your calves are, but medium should be fine. In my opinion
I'm the same height you can fit a medium but it won't be the best fit
