For me, too much makeup is a serious red flag and turn off. I personally hate makeup, since I believe it hides your true colours. Now, I won’t say no to a little bit, or having a crazy amount for fun. Sometimes it’s also to cover up stuff like scars, I can understand that. Smell is not always about bad hygiene, I do wash myself everyday and still in school if I'm really stressful I do have a bit of smell, and there is also bacterial vaginal discharge can also make you smelly, so if you see some girl being smelly don't think its always bc of she doesn't take care of herself, or there may be the disease called Trimethylaminuria but it is rare
Smell ain’t too bad true, but thankfully people can tell the difference between that and someone being a slob.
Example: I’m a dude, works outside most days, does stuff on computers inside, showers everyday with soap. With or without deodorant, within 3-5 hours, that smell is back; limited, but it’s there.

Question for you guys. I brush my hair, do it up, always wear deodorant, and always try to wear perfume. I have a very relaxed style of dressing, exercise shorts and oversized tshirts. I agree to a degree. The real point I'm trying to make is that most of the time, you can see patterns in a person that cares about their hygiene.
