Frankly, I have been in the Healthcare field for 34 years and I can tell you this, I have had the privilege and pleasure of working with the nicest, most unassuming Nurses AND CNA's you would ever want to meet. NURSING IS HARD WORK AT ALL LEVELS...PERIODT. But, we all know that in life, you will always have some "ne'er do wells"....as in any other profession in life....people "who are in it but don't mean it"...that will not break their manicured nails for NOBODY...to do an honest days work, call out at the drop of a hat 😉 when stressed with a patient...and pass the buck onto the next shift, with multiple excuses...! That is where my blood pressure 🤧 will always erupt...because folks like those have NO BUSINESS BEING IN THIS LINE OF WORK.
My mom is a CNA and they have her and her coworkers chips and miscellaneous candies 😂. My mom works like 50 plus hours a week. Dedicated and get nothing for it. Hot mess haha.
The nurses themselves should give the CNAs gifts. And the CNAs ought to get paid better too. Those who perform the least pleasant jobs always get paid poorly. And also the least appreciation.

but as a CNA I get this episode because they do these stupid little games with us that you can win prizes and just know that bath & body works always have sale every year around this time so and that's where they get their potential gifts from. We need an episode when Tracy leave after this BS she move on to a different nursing home for a week we'll see how they feel when she leaves. Definitely going to be calling her.

I'm a home health aid but the lady who lives here is a nurse and I'm taking care of her mother in law and qork about 55-60 hrs a week. She made me a nice fish lunch and gave me 40 dollars and said happy cna week lol I felt appreciated

CNA week 2020 I got a stupid gift bag with emoji movie pen and 4 kisses chocolates 😤 I was so pissed I put it in the trash immediately. Now as an RN I was given a $5 starbucks gift card...😒 their "gifts" suck big time.
I think it's that specific establishment because I worked as a CNA for years in California for visiting nurses association and our gifts were no different than the RN, even our Christmas bonus was the same. You shouldn't work for an establishment period that makes it obvious that they don't appreciate nor respect your job title
CNA do not get appreciated for their hard work until they become a nurse. That's the meaning of hard work pays off. It don't pay off until you become a nurse
