I agree. Tired of all these serial killer documentaries, mini-series and movies. Really tired of them. I know all I ever want to know about them. That shit really doesn't excite me. Especially not with all the soft headed people who are inspired by this bs and the fanboys/fangirls who get moist off this. Weird bs.
I am so happy Elijah Wood is having his overdue renaissance, he is a fantastic actor, some of his recent pictures have been my favourite films in recent years.
I think he just holds out for roles that interest him. He made enough money in the LOTR movies to see himself comfortable so he only gets involved in stuff he thinks is cool. He got an amazing filmography.
When Elijah Wood is 80 years old he's just gonna be walking around looking like a really dehydrated 20 year old who's been without sleep for a week or so....Not a bad deal...👌🏼
Of all the actors who played this role, Luke Kirby must be the only one who looks more like Ted than anyone else. There are two differences of course, Luke has green eyes, Ted had blue. Luke is very tall, 1,85 m. Ted was 1,75 m.
Elijah Wood is now that type of guy who could easily look either 20 or nearly 50 years old with a minimal make-up job. Its mesmerizing. I hope they will offer him a scenario that exploits this unique feature he currently got. Plus, he's a crazy talented actor.
Stoked to see this! Interested to see Elijah's performance. I like also that it's from his character's perspective and not Ted Bundy's perspective. Also, everyone talks about Elijah's work in LOTR, but has anyone seen Wilfred?? Such a great show and I absolutely loved him in it!!
Elijah Wood as a unique and instantly recognizable face. I mean, when you have those "cookie cutter", celebrities that all look alike, it's like they all might as well be the same person.
I kept thinking the actor for Bundy looked odd, i didnt think they looked too similar. Than i saw 1:16 and i got chills. Idk what it was, but i legit thought they used a real clip of Ted Bundy. This actor is gonna be amazing, and i cannot wait to see this movie.
@@adamgardiner5869 I am not obsessed. I thought it was another movie from the thumbnail and the title. I barely watched the trailer before writing my comment. For the record, I have not seen any Ted movies and I don't plan to.
If a movie requires flashbacks of two friends/brothers who switch between younger selves and current selves, might I suggest casting Elijah Wood and Paul Rudd?
"Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life...Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. Even the very wise cannot see all ends." - Gandalf
Also Gandalf: "End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path... One that we all must take. The gray rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass... And then you see it. White shores... and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise." Sounds like killing someone is doing them a favor. IDK why he was so uptight about killing lol
I mean... Gandalf was talking to Frodo about Gollum who later helped destroy the ring, he wasn't talking about the rapist serial killer Ted Bundy. Gandalf was fine with like, orcs getting killed
It’s his voice. His slightly breathy, overly pronounced, ‘law educated’ voice. Wear headphones and close your eyes. Chills. Bravo to the Voice coach and (Lenny Bruce) Luke Kirby
I think Elijah Wood will be the first actor where studios will have to use an "ageing" effect for his movies to make him look older...He's gonna be 75 and still look 21! If he wasn't famous he'd probably get carded his whole dang life! Shoot, probably gets carded at a Rated R movie! LOL! But really, he's so friggin' talented!
Elijah Wood has been producing a lot of good movies including this one and Mandy. I met him a few years ago at a comic-con near me and Robert Patrick was also there. It makes me curious if they maybe talked while at one of the conventions because they are both very easy to talk to. Robert Patrick loves motorcycles so I chatted with him about riding for a few minutes. Elijah Wood was really nice too. I've been a fan of both since the 90's.
This is the Ted Bundy movie I’ve been waiting for. Hagmier doesn’t talk as much about Bundy as all the other profilers, but Bundy actually liked him the most and chose to spend his last hours with him. He knew Bundy better than the rest.
Luke Kirby is the actor's name playing Ted Bundy. Remember that because he will be a huge force in the acting world. Watch him in the Marvelus Mrs. Masiel as Lenny Bruce on Prime streaming.
Wow..I'm actually surprised how close they got the look right for both of them especially Bundy. He really exudes that wolf in sheepskin predator vibe. I'll have to check an episode out
Hey guys, you all saying Elijah Wood hasn't aged: its because he's wearing make up and he's acting. Watch his recent interview on Hot Ones with Sean Evans, you'll see he looks a lot older there than here.
Of all the cheap B-rated movie trailers I've watched on UA-cam lately, this is the first one that has sparked real interest in me. I have no claim to be an Elijah Wood fan, but I have nothing against him either. This movie just looks packed with intrigue and danger, how could anyone want to engage with a psychopath as brilliant as Ted Bundy? That man was an acid trip unto himself! I think I will try and find this movie and watch it with the lights off and no distractions...
Bundy : I'm going to take you somewhere, i have not taken anyone before.
Elijah : Sir i have been to Mordor before.
Yes, we are all aware actors have played different characters before. Why do you idiots keep thinking it is funny?
But have you lay on the cold metal surface?
Lol that made me laugh ;-)!
I'm the dude that killed Sauron
I went to that Mountain from a Led Zeppelin song, and actually did the Mist Mountain hop
This looks extremely well made but god damn, does there really need to be another Ted Bundy movie?
You can say that again

That was my first thought. Why give this creature so much attention?
Seriously when will America get its next serial
Killer?
Right
“Even the T-1000 can’t break Ted Bundy.”
“We have no choice then. Send in the Hobbit.”
I am so happy Elijah Wood is having his overdue renaissance, he is a fantastic actor, some of his recent pictures have been my favourite films in recent years.
Come to Daddy and I don’t feel at home in this world anymore are fantastic Elijah wood performances
he was also great in dirk gentlys detective agency
I think he just holds out for roles that interest him. He made enough money in the LOTR movies to see himself comfortable so he only gets involved in stuff he thinks is cool. He got an amazing filmography.
Nice to see the new season of Mindhunter is finally coming out.
Haha
this is legit what i was thinking lol
lmao true
Literally what I was thinking
I need more mind hunter so good. Best two seasons of a series. The attention to detail is great
When Elijah Wood is 80 years old he's just gonna be walking around looking like a really dehydrated 20 year old who's been without sleep for a week or so....Not a bad deal...👌🏼
Who needs de-aging technology? Just hire Elija Wood for every role that requires de-aging.
Lmao. So very true, my thoughts exactly
I'm beginning to actually with that! lol
The actor who plays Ted looks really like him, kinda scary and impressive at the same time
Yeah i got goosebumps
@@jolinkarlsson8569 very eery

He does indeed, and talks like him too....scare F'in Ree
"He's my best friend" that would send chills down my spine if I was described as Ted Bundy's best friend to anyone.

I’ve been dying to see Elijah in a part like this. I’m excited to see the film!
"The ring gave Frodo unnatural long life."
And then, it consumed him.
I feel sorry for him he will always be seen as Frodo .
@@chuckbuck5002 it was a phenomenal role to land but yeah I get what you mean
@@MichaelSnyder1776 consumed him in lubaderm that is ;)
Elijah Wood doesn't look a day older from when he played Frodo back in 2001. That was 20 years ago. This is weird.
did you meet him face to face 20 years back and now?
Yet T2 looks much older.
Did you forget he was in possession of the One Ring?
Bro, he has the ring!
@@Vetrivel.Shanmugam ... no, why?
I will watch anything with Elijah Wood.
I've seen Bundys interviews on UA-cam. This looks like it could be really good. The mood looks captured really well and the cast looks terrific.
Wow the guy playing Ted, I can already tell his portrayal will be the best ever seen, so incredibly accurate it’s scary.
I just finished watching the extended trilogy yesterday.what a CHAMP this man is!
We are finishing it--again!--tonight!
what trilogy??
Elijah Wood as a unique and instantly recognizable face.

I'm starting to think he's gonna be one of those 'timeless' actors
Long enough to have been in Back to the Future!

Me after watching Conjuring 3: The man just needs to say "The devil made me do it" and he'll be free
"The Ring made me do it."

Why is Hollywood so obsessed with this guy? They've done how many movies on him now? There are millions of other stories to tell for goodness sake.

@@adamgardiner5869 I am not obsessed. I thought it was another movie from the thumbnail and the title. I barely watched the trailer before writing my comment. For the record, I have not seen any Ted movies and I don't plan to.
Because they don't have to pay anybody the rights to his story? It's easy, cheap money.

Elijah Wood finally showing some ageing - well preserved indeed! We can't stay in our tweens forever...

Elijah is one of the few celebrities who's not a peice of shit. I wish him well
Actually he is since he's a Democrat
You know what? The dude who played Lenny Bruce really DOES look like Ted Bundy! Great casting there!
Elijah typically picks great scripts and screenplays. Sure it's yet another Ted Bundy movie, but looks like a great indie movie.
Damn good casting for Ted Bundy.
I saw Zac play him..it was really good...this is a great angle love it

He comes across as genuinely nice, and down to earth. You don't get the stink of Hollywood ego on him.
Loved Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. Always will. That's his Star Wars and he does not even know.
I see Frodo Baggins has received an effect from the One Ring aka "MY PRECIOUS" and that is eternal youth.
