I would call it an impact mill. That black powder can be bulk fire assayed without the panning. I sell an impact mill which will make fine powder out of chips. PS. I'm a gold mine owner.

@@rickysmallwood6670 the easiest and most hassle free way would be to use a micro-bloomery, however you may also treat the ashes with different acids that dissolve the differs metals while leaving the impurities behind. Then you may neutralise the acids and collect and melt the precipitate. This is significantly more effective.

i think if you watch how to refine gold from mlcc by umar iqbal you could get some idea although im not sure those method are good for your lungs

Before recycling the chips, check how much it's worth. Some chips cost dozens or hundreds of dollars.
