It drives even the cheapest of us musicians to want to financially support you by buying your other products. :-) A throwback song which was never hugely popular, but our church LOVES, is "Word of God" (Brenton Brown, Andi Rozier). The Vertical Worship version is the better one and has GREAT electric guitar all the way through it.

It's not so much about old, but is it still relevant: stylistically, lyrically, theologically, etc. This is one that will stay int he set lists. Lot's of worship songs have an expiration date, but this isn't one of them .

You know what works great in any of these instrumentals, the lead line from Ordinary World (Duran Duran), did it last night!!

I’d be great if I was able to read finger placements
This is along the style of how I would like to play this song, however I don't have that artistic liberty where I serve. Thus, a much more subdued approach on my electric guitar. Sometimes during an instrumental, it would be nice to let the music breath just a little without voice overs or even omitting the breaks altogether.

Alright, so apart from the song, what do y’all think about the silver sky as a “worship” guitar? A strat style guitar is my favorite of all time and I’m a huge JM fan, but as a worship guitar player where tons of lead lines and tones come from the bridge pickup, if I’m honest, I’m not the biggest fan of the brash sounding single coil bridge pickups on most strats. This does seem to be more usable, but thoughts? Considering this or a TMG HSS.
I’d say if you think this sounds like it’s cutting it then that’s your answer! They did a lot of work to make sure the bridge pickup wasn’t harsh.
