Most cruise vlogs on MSC ships that I have seen are people saying never again.

I experienced a crazy bottleneck in the stairwell like that on a Carnival cruise in February! It was a very anxious situation and I saw zero staff attempting to solve the problem. Scary!

That crowd would have given me horrible anxiety and this cruise would just be one and done based on your experience. How freaking disorganized and just rude!

Our first cruise was MSC Poesia for a Donny & Marie Osmond cruise in 2012. We don't recall any issues with the actual cruise but rather with the event organizers. Overall, it was a great cruise. Yours looks pretty scary! Our next cruise is Norwegian, and we are excited! Thanks for showing us your experiences.
Wow, that Mykonos disembark made me nervous watching , I recently took my first cruise last sept and I did Alaska … I was nervous about the terrain and crowds at ports for that one . I’m navigating my way back to normal things after a major neck surgery. I am brave but what y’all experienced , I could not do . I would be toast if I fell 😬….But Mykonos looked so beautiful 😍 and I adored Taylor’s pretty Greek themed dress ❤….I’m hoping to do a transatlantic in 2024 , but I would have to pick the right cruise line and hope that crew and staff are as amazing as they were on RCL Quantum in Alaska… can’t wait to see the rest of your trip

Wow, i think this was the first cruise i have seen you not like totally. One and Done for you guys i bet with MSC. We like NCL. I know there might be better cruise lines but we stick to something we like. We may try RC someday. But i see your going on the NCL Prima, we want to go on that ship someday! I always talkabout my river cruise too and it was eight years ago!
My wife and I are taking this cruise in October out of Greece. Wow I hope that when we go it will be more organized.

The lady in front of you getting off the ship was wild
First MSC was Splendida Red Seas 3 months ago. TSA has nothing on the security in that part of the world. It was military, check points, all in the ports. From the port to Cairo/Giza is 3 hours. All buses depart together and there are military police escorting us, just in case. Scan your bags when you leave the airport, scan to go into the hotel, to leave the walled/gated property (mall outside the gate) scan into the mall, scan going out. I am so happy I choose MSC with the bargain YC (usually can't afford), and the MSC sponsored excursions, it was really nice to have someone take care of all these passport exchanges and so on. I plan to go back for some other visits, and feel comfortable being in an ocean view on MSC. 🚢💖🚢🥂🎉
I can’t believe that disembarkation mess! I wonder how common that craziness is and why there isn’t more crew around to help make the process go smoothly. I totally understand how it killed the vibe for your touring that day. What a shame!
Unless you are at a winery during the “crush”, you won’t see them making wine first hand. It’s seasonal.
I always ask what's above and below our cabin.
I love Mosel wine , I love a kabinet the best ! The Mosel is a fabulous valley to visit ! I found your embarkation really strange in Haifa !
The food looks great the line situation is very disappointing they should’ve had someone doing the lines that way there were no issues happening
I share the same sentiment. Tried MSC cruise for first time in January and was really disappointed with it in so many aspects. I will stick with RC, Princess, Celebrity, and Virgin.
I think that anyone that is used to the Disney cruises will notice a difference when you go on other cruise lines. Disney does and amazing job of taking care of you. I also think that a lot of the issues are because of cultural differences. Many in that area of the world are much more apathetic than those from say the UK or the US.
I am not surprised by the pushing and shoving getting off of the ship. My whole family is from Europe and sadly, that is reality for many places, it is everyone for themselves and grab what you can type of mentality. That is why I always laugh when others say that Americans are the rude ones because that is far from reality. Having lived my life always one foot in the old Country and one foot in the US, I can say with all honesty that most Americans are clueless, but not rude when traveling.
Going to Athens in July! How easy do you think it is to get around? Like walking wise.

Omg, thanks for the tips, I am actually thinking in going on MSC Musica that leaves from Barcelona August1, but after all these reviews from other ppl I am wondering if I should do it, I really like the places they r going in the Mediterranean, I am not very picky for food, so I don't care about that, but I would like to see those places when arrive in the another town. Please let me know what cruise u guys ever took a cruise from barcelona. thanks
I embarked in Alicante. I was only one.
We did a MSC cruise on Meraviglia. Out of New York. We did not witness anything like this.
I was on this cruise and I have been so disappointed by the behaviour of people, MSc is a great company, I have travelled with them 7 times and I have never been disappointed with them
Are there any theme nights we should be aware of?
Great question! On our cruise specifically, there was only one themed night and it was “elegant”. Some people dressed up and some people didn’t.
MSC should have a new tag line: There is nothing we can do. My daughter and her boyfriend were on the MSC out of Brooklyn, NY and they had a horrible time. They will never go on MSC again and I will never go on an MSC cruise. It is a shame because the ship was really nice and the one you were on looks really pretty also. They have no customer service at all for anything. Every time they asked about something they were told I am sorry there is nothing we can do. I called for them to the main phone number and I got the same thing I am sorry there is nothing I can do.

I thought that the workers on msc felt like they didnt want to be there. I asked one staff workers in Buffet Why no one smiles. He said he didnt know he had to. I hated msc. Many disliked Americans. Many european cruisers were pushy,rude, loud..i got off cruise early.had enough bull sh..
Yeah I wouldn't be happy in that crowd. Europeans can be quite rude (I can say that, I'm European). Passions get raised, tempers frayed.... Not pretty and I'm sorry that was your experience. Greece is beautiful. Congratulations to lovey happy couple. 🎉

This sounds like a truly confusing mish mash and you have to figure out a bit too much on your own.
Oh wow you guys, that is so lame, what a disappointment! Plus I can understand why you felt unsafe, and it looked as if any crew that I spotted seemed to be just ignoring the situation; which makes me wonder if this is a`normal` situation for them! Not a good look, MSC!
