Today i was having an appointment but in aadhar card photo i was minor so they told me to update the aadhar and they recheduled the appointment to 27july, I applied for the aadhar updation and they told me that it can take upto a month in updation. So, can i change the appointment date?
No dnt change. Even if your other do not get updated your appointment will automatically get cancelled.
Usually it takes 7 to 10 days to get Aadhar updated. you can download full page verified Aadhar and visit the passport office.

Converting your normal appointment to tatkal appointment will not allow you to get an earlier appointment date, although it will help in quick processing after appointment to receive your passport.
Once you reach out your passport seva kendra you can ask them to convert your normal application to tatkal application they may ask you some extra amount and you will have to produce 3 ID 🪪.

Yes it is possible.
On the date of you appointment, you will have to go there and tell them that you have an urgent requirement of passport. They will convert your application from normal to tatkal and take extra charges there only.

You can reschedule your normal appointment and book for the earliest date available in the slot. you need not to book for tatkal.

A mistake was done in filling up the address details the the application for a Tatkal Passport and the application was submitted .
NOW CAN I RESCHEDULE IT TO ADD CHANGES(Correction) AND CHOOSE ANOTHER DATE .

From the date you have applied for the passport you are given 1 year time to attend the appointment,
Within this 1 year of time span you can schedule your appointment thrice.
After 1 year or 3 chances which ever is earlier, no refund is granted.
Once the fee is paid, will not be refunded at any condition

1. So, If I try rescheduling online using the passport seva portal and could not find the earlier date, will I be able to retain my current appointment slot or I will lose that?
2. If I could not find the earlier appointment slot and want to retain my existing appointment slot, so will keeping the existing appointment slot be counted towards 2 rescheduling attempts?

Let your current appointment stand until you find the earliest appointment. what you need to do is you need to check weekly appointment slots, whenever you find earlier appointment slot you can reschedule it and the once you reschedule your current appointment will be active and your appointment that was 2 month away bill automatically get canceled.
Same situation, on passport availability normal slot wait time is 2 months. I too want a early slot. I can't apply under tatkal. Did you got chance to get early slot???? How easy is to get earlier date free slot, and what is the trick to take it??
Don't worry, you can. Your slot won't be use befor a new slot. You can check your slot and if you get acording your choice, you can have it otherwise you can ignore it, your schedule won't be loss

I would suggest booking your appointment whatever date you are getting, then mean while you should also keep on checking after every 2 days if any slot is available in October or November, so once you find the slot is available you can reschedule and prepone your appointment.

SIR I HAVE SELECTED FOR TATKAAL PASSPORT BUT THE APPOINTMENT DATE IS TOO LATE 17 APRIL 2023 . CAN I PREPONE MY TATKAAL APPOINTMENT DATE IF THERE IS ANY CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULE BY ANYONE ? WHATS THE PROCESS AND WHERE CAN I GET TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE SLOTS AVAILABLE BEFORE 17 APRIL 2023.

No you can't prepone the appointments whether you chose normal or tatkal.
I suggest, you can select different passport seva Kendra where you have an earlier appointment date available.

@@ProMotivationalHub First check for availability. If there are available slots to any dates prior to the date of ur appointment, u just need to reschedule n select the prior date available. Same procedure what you have told in the video.

So based on your experience, can you please answer my following questions:
1. If I try rescheduling and could not find the earlier date, will I be able to retain my current appointment slot or I will lose that?
2. If I could not find the earlier appointment slot and want to retain my existing appointment slot, so will keeping the existing appointment slot be counted towards 2 rescheduling attempts?

Im not sure if u can retain ur appointment date. Only possibility of getting an earlier date and retaining your appointment date is trying to opt for scheduling on the next date. For example you have applied on 2 april for appointment on 10 may and if you to prepone you first check for the availability and then try it immediately on 3rd of april. Even if you dont retain ull get the next date of you prior appointment.

Sir maine passport book kiya tha mera sab kaam hogya tha police verification bhi hogyi thi uske baad mere pass mail aayi ki dobara RPO jaipur me jana pdega or ab mai daily try krta hu mera appointment book hi nahi hota mai correct 1 pm pr try krta hu but tbhi show krta hai all appointments are booked

Yes it is possible.
On the date of you appointment, you will have to go there and tell them that you have an urgent requirement of passport. They will convert your application from normal to tatkal and take extra charges there only.

नहीं आपको एप्लीकेशन को फिर से बनने की जरूरत नहीं है जो आपकी एप्लीकेशन है उस एप्लीकेशन नंबर को सेलेक्ट करके आप दोबारा से अपने अपॉइंटमेंट को रीशेड्यूल कर पाएंगे 3 बार से ज्यादा अगर आप कैंसिल कर देते हैं तो फिर आपकी एप्लीकेशन रिजेक्ट हो जाएगी तब आपको फिर से फ्रेस एप्लीकेशन अप्लाई करनी पड़ेगी और दोबारा फीस पे करनी पड़ेगी।

Sir I have applied for passport 2 years (12-4-2022)ago there is a appointment.......but some reasons I won't attend there...I want re-appointment for this how is the process ?????
Once the fee is paid you can only schedule the appointment within the 1 year. If you paid ur fee on 12.4.2022 you have still have option to schedule the appointment upto 11.04.2023 beyond that your application will be rejected and no refund is received.
