- When Comfey returned in the Indigo Disk DLC, I was looking forward to being able to use it and I was not disappointed! Comfey has always been a very good Pokemon in my eyes, having Triage which increases the Priority of Draining Kiss and Giga Drain by 3 and having Calm Mind to make it even stronger, but its lack of Steel Type coverage was its biggest problem... however now that it's in Scarlet and Violet, it can Terastallize and use Tera Fire Tera Blast to deal with them!

That's a commonly used strat that started in Gen 8. It was to counter Hatterene exactly. The parting shot was to prevent G-Max Hatterene with it's bulk, to terrorize the game in the long run.
6:09 Ohhh that is such a NASTY way to use a Pokemon's strenghts against it! Very interesting. I love Grimmsnarl's and Hatterene's rivalry against each other.
I used a comfy sun team to hit top 50 on the showdown ladder back in Gen 7.
Sun turns growth into a +2 boost. And +2 comfy was good enough to kill Hawlucha, Kommo-o, Mega-Pert/etc.
Super fun man. Consider trying it on a sun-centric team :P

Aaah... The old calm mind + draining kiss combo. Gardevoir was the one starting it.... Good old times... The sweeps I've done with it...
I've played until Alola, and few sweep set ups were as strong as that one, only ninjask/blaziken baton pass strat and Garchomp Dragon dance set up are as dangerous (maybe Mimikyu, but he has a passive made for this, so I won't include him. Love the pokemon though, it gave me so much fun in Alola)
Just wondering how this interacts with psychic terrain. Does it just completely shut comfey down? Planning to goof off with this guy so it woule be cool if I got a heads up
Here's an idea for a video. Make a team, but only use moves that are less than or equal to 75 Base Power.
Just because the power's low, doesn't mean the team using it is WEAK... Right?

My favourite Gen 7 Pokemon is either Comfey or Mimikyu, and my favourite Fairy Type is Granbull, closely followed by Comfey... or Mimikyu, lol

1 - I love Incineroar and Tsareena, theirs design is just beautiful
2 - My favourite fairy type is either Azumarill or Clefable
tera ground's better honestly, for that counter to poison types, aswell as killing steel types too. ive used comfey before so i kinda know what im talking about
(and you dont get 2x'd by steel types, with calm mind making u able to tank most of them aswell, like "make it rain" from gholdengo)
as ive seen in the video, you said about heatran walling comfey. that's one more point that confirms why tera ground is better!
I've used Comfey a lot too, with it being one of my favourite Pokemon, I find Tera Fire to be better personally.
Tera Ground results in being walled by Corviknight which is *everywhere* and Comfey is able to 2HKO most Poison Types with Tera Fire Tera Blast, so it's not a huge deal.

Yeah but Tera fire hits tsareena and while it’s rare your it’s literally immune to your triage moves. If comfey ever became too good or any abuser of priority frankly people would try using it on some teams so best to be prepared for it. I know I’ve seen some use it for kingambit as it’s got strong fighting coverage and a sucker punch immunity.

In gen 7 i reach 100 win streak on battle tree using Comfey, Minior and Kommo-o, they're really strongs pokémonse if you know how to use
I thought fakeout was 4+ how triage faster?
Gives +3 priority for lifesteal or recovery attacks
fake out is +3 aswell with triage
