I’ve met Princess Anne a few times. Once when she descended in a helicopter for a very small public engagement in my home town and twice at a local horse racing track. The first time she was coming over to berate and congratulate my friend’s Dad because his racing syndicate out bid her on a racing horse lol.
She is a lovely, funny lady who I think truly enjoys meeting and helping people, especially in more rural areas of the UK.
I absolutely believe that Princess Ann Is proud of her brother & is very supportive of King Charles. I also adore seeing more of Zara & Mike.

Our home grown Australian Queen Mary is impeccable in dress, loyalty and duty to Crown and Country. Both she and Catherine are very good friends and both a credit to their respective Royal houses. 🇦🇺 🇩🇰

It´s just a fashion show with her - in my opinion. There has been no development since the day she set foot in Denmark the first time. Same always, a flat line. She does impeccably - but it is oh-so-boring.
She really does us proud 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 and shows Meghan that Googleing the national anthem is nothing!! She learned that, all the protocols, dresses appropriately, had 4 gorgeous kids who we see!! And learnt a whole new language (a difficult language) to speak it fluently!!
The way they treated QE and PP while they were dying is unforgivable most will never forget. That sealed their fate in my opinion
One of the more disgusting interviews was not long after after Prince Philip's death when harry told Hoda Kotb (TODAY SHOW) he was doing everything to make sure that his grandmother was protected and had the right people behind her (as she gazed lovingly into his eyes).

I agree that stealing the Queen’s childhood nickname was horrendous, but I think telling the world that the royals were racist( and yes, that’s what they did, no matter Harry gaslighting us on superficial semantics) was the most damaging to her life’s work.
Also calling the Commonwealth Empire 2.0 was also pretty shitty to an elderly woman with dying of bone cancer.

The Princess Royal, is exactly that; superb.
Princess Anne was close to her father, and has inherited his No-nonsense attitude. His attitude was that people weren’t attracted to you personally but were attracted by the Royal status that you held. That’s a very levelling attitude to take, the mark of a realist.
I’m old enough to remember that Princess Anne initially offended many people by her plain talking, no nonsense attitude. Isn’t it great how we have come to love her. I think people of my generation are fed up of pretentiousness and falsity.
I’ve always admired the Princess Royal. She is so classy and is a real workhorse. She’s been such a strong support for the King but has always taken more than her fair share of Royal appearances and patronages.
She is the model of the modern woman. Nothing is beyond her and she is so strong and well set that she will always have my utmost admiration. Back in my day we would have said, "WHAT A WOMAN!" I am a woman with high admiration of her. Many blessings to Princess Royal Anne.
The young Princess Anne was not such an attractive personality. She was a hoity-toity little madam and could have wound up a self absorbed stuff shirt like Andrew. Thankfully, she "grew up" and matured into the admirable senior Royal we have today. I wonder how much her second husband, Tim Lawrence, influenced that change? He seems a steady anchor in her life, as was Prince Phillip in the late QEll's.
"The Crown" TV show should make another show on Harry the sparry and rename it, "The Clown" in my opinion.

Anne was pushed down the line with each brother born, it's one rule Queen Elizabeth has changed, so Charlotte will hold her position as 2nd to George. But I think Anne and then her children should replace Harry, or at least Prince Edward and Sophie and their children, because no one will tolerate Harry on the throne, even if he was the last effing royal blood!!

@@lynettefinnigan9540 I have a feeling there would be parliamentary intervention if W&C's family had a tragic ending. It would be a huge choice to keep the monarchy but skip the Sussex line, or become a full republic. Becoming a republic would be a huge loss to the UK as a nation and the counties that use their monarch as head of state. But I can't see any of them accepting Harry as head of state, EVER. As a US citizen I sometimes want to start a vote to use the monarch as our head of state and get rid of that aspect of our president. The last two have really proven just how bad politics is at choosing a head of state. Yuck and we have nothing to look forward to in our next election either!
William was also a search and rescue pilot on active duty for 3 years which is quite dangerous.
It is certainly highly skilled and sometimes dangerous. Unlike Hawwy, he actually DID the job and not just turned up for photoshoots.
I saw Williams full achievements as a rescue pilot recently ….he has been involved in the saving of 149 lives and was also awarded a medal by the American Coastguard whilst on a short navy stint , which he never wears , earned when he flew the helicopter from a Frigate ( I think ) and forced a stolen boat in the Caribbean to stop…..on board was one of the largest drug hauls in their history!!! 🏴🇬🇧

As close as William and Harry were when they were younger, it's sad that William won't have the support of his sibling when he ascends the throne like his father has Anne and Edward for support. Anne and Edward, along with their spouses, quietly get on with the business of being working royals. Harry, on the other hand, remains the spoiled, petulant child he's always been. He ignores the fact he grew up with a very privileged life, yet whines that he was born second and his brother got more than he did. I'm sure the UK is relieved William was firstborn.

In my opinion.6Harry is an extremely mixed-up, confused, and dim individual. He has been so spoiled and over indulged that his arrogance and entitled attitude know no bounds. He does not seem to understand the reality of life outside his royal sheltered existence. Meghan is just an extension of Harry's need to be directed by others. He is incapable of making his own decisions.
He has Mike Tindal who he’s very close to. And plenty of support from his in-laws. I’m hoping Beatrice and Eugene will rally round too.
I think the idea the two brothers were close may have been overplayed by the press. Everyone wanted this to be true. The two boys were obviously going to be together in family photos. That doesn't mean they really liked each other.
I don't see any great love for William by Harry in Spare. I think William may have felt responsible for Harry, but that doesn't mean they were close. IMO.

My guess is William has spent his life looking after/taking responsibility for Harry. But, it is a sadness that William never had in Harry what Charles had in Anne.

In my opinion, everyone in the Royal family must have been keenly aware that Harry is totally unsuited to leadership. He has no discernable ability to make sound decisions. Harry needs others to direct him. Apparently, he was unhappy working for the palace, but could not figure out a sensible alternative. Meghan came along and led him straight to where he is now. I really hope he is finally happy, but his repeated displays of anger, bitterness, hostility, and vindictiveness at his relatives are not indicative of a happy or content person. He seems confused and befuddled. My opinion..

Harry was so loved. He was always jolly. He was the most favored royal.... Until Meghan. She literally caused him to lose everything. I actually think that Harry had found his place and had been happy before Megan came. He doesn't seem as much ambitious as for example Andrew who definitely thinks about himself that he would have been better king (same as princess Margaret). Here is Megan the driven force. Did you see the recent video from the Housewives channel on their trip to Nigeria? It was SO bad. This one's wife was literally blocking Harry from a group photo. Worth watching...total cringe!

The spares that are successful are often a talent in their own right. They don't suffer from a sense of inferiority. Princess Anne is a case in point. She has a stellar career as an Olympic horse women and runs an estate which hosts annual equestrian events. She is also an accomplished yachts woman. Princess Anne is very much a person in her own right not some kind of "also ran".

While I have sympathy for just harry regarding the loss of his parent at a young age, his treatment of his remaining family members is revolting. Being a spare must be tough emotionally, but it's hard to feel much sympathy when the life of a spare is more charmed than 99% of us can dream of. He should be removed from the line of succession, along with his children. They do not have any relationship with the UK or the RF, and it is inappropriate for them to use titles in the US, and dangerous to represent themselves this way on the world stage.

Prince William served as a search and rescue pilot for the RAF before retiring and serving as a civilian pilot for the air ambulance. The Isles Scilly believe it or not is pronounced silly.
I admire the way all the Royals adhere to time-honoured protocols and also show huge affection to each other. They make it look easy and effortless.

We know what's important! Don't drive yourself nutty over it, obviously you're a perfectionist but the show is already perfect. You don't have to include every single thing. I think it's important to clarify that Prince George is the current spare as there can only be 1 at a time. Andrew, Princess Ann, and Harry are in the LoS only.
I have a grandmother who was born and raised in Norway who was a favorite member of my family. I did a country report in school on Norway and I learned so much about this country. I found that I have distant relations to the king, which I know everyone is told they’re related to royalty, but in my studies for my report, it seems to actually be true. When I was 16, my grandparents decided to take my family to Norway, in which I got to spend time with my ancestors, both old and simple, and fascinating, to very contemporary, who I grew to respect and enjoy hearing about in the future. The country is absolutely beautiful and so worth the trip for anyone to experience. It was truly a lifetime experience that I wouldn’t trade for the world. I thank you for sharing what you know about the Norwegian royal family. Yes…May 17th is their Independence Day!! I can pronounce it in Norwegian, but I can’t spell it correctly off the top of my head. 😊
