- Our friend, Husnain took us to his village for Eid at Nankana Sahib, about 1.5 hr from Lahore, Pakistan. This village is one of the holiest place for the Sikh, as it is the birth place of Guru Nanak dev Ji. We visited two Gurdwara in the village. Check out our vlog!

We Pakistanis love our sikh bretheren here in Pakistan. Indians raise propoganda that Pakistanis kill Sikhs, but that is completely false. Here there are our local shops and sikh shop owners even add their pictures in pride of them owning the store. The shop's of many of these stores are like "Baba guru nanak karyana, or Singh brothers...etc".
Sikhs live freely among us. A mjority of population is located in Punjab and the mountainous pukhtun regions of KPK. We all pive together peacefully.

You should look up "Kartarpur Corridor" between India and Pakistan, which is a visa free zone for Sikh religious devotees. Very nice indeed! Also look up some UA-cam videos on the same.

There are 7 total gurdwara in single city. All belong to guru nanek. There are Atleast 50 gurdwara that are historical importance and all belong togurunanek
In a way that all gurdwara belong to guru nanek. But in Pakistan gurudawara are those that belong to guru nanek. All have a history. Him being born or playing or teaching someone. Or stating his famous langer etc ect
Yes, it was such a crowded and popular gurudwara. I saw a grand total of 2 sikhs and 1 muslim and 1 christian and 1 atheist tourist. Pretty "Amazing". lol.

What an awesome visit to the Gurdwaras....very beautiful indeed. Wonderful to know why the Sikh males wear a bangle on their arm....l never find out why though l have a few Sikh friends. Yeah, it's so unfortunate that the Eid plan in the village had to be cancelled due to some safety matters for you both. Rules are rules... nevertheless a big Shukriya to Husnain for the hospitality rendered. EID MUBARAK to all Muslims brothers and sisters. Have a wonderful celebration.

Oh man , Husnain was so much sad, he was litteraly going to cry. But any ways he tried to do as much as he could . A big thanks to him for entertaining the geusts.

I'd not recommend you to go to the villages or other Far Areas in Pakistan without informing Local security or PD because although it is safe and people are very Welcoming but we as a nation don't want you to get in any problem as there could be some bad apples, and everyone knows that bad apples are everywhere no matter where you go.

If this was recorded yesterday (Friday) then you may still have a chance to celebrate Eid today (Saturday) somewhere else as I think many in Pakistan are celebrating it today (Saturday)...
Eid is often celebrated on one of two days depending where you are, so for some it was on Friday and some on Saturday..
Would be a real shame if you couldn't get involved in any Eid celebrations at all while in Pakistan... Unthinkable!
Yep, we recorded this on Friday. Today is Eid in Pakistan, but we have no plans. Tomorrow we will see a friend of ours though! No problem... it's been a bit of a comedy of errors since we've gotten to Pakistan, but our spirits are high. We will go to Karachi soon and hopefully find some good times

There is a beautiful Sikh site in a Pakistan-India border village (kartarpur gurdwara) it's a corridor where Sikhs from India side can also come. I suggest you should visit it. About 3 hours from lahore.

There's a number of Sikh Gudiwaras in Lahore. I was there myself only 2 days back you could have joined us for Gudiwara program and Eid program. Shame about the police doing that with you I'm shocked as it didn't happen to me when I visited Nankana Sahib. Eid has 4 more days I hope it goes well for you. If you need any assistance in Lahore (foreigner living here please reach out ).
We will take Khalistan from India and would be able to visit these holiest sites in Pakistan in peace. Love to see fellow Canadians in Pakistan.

Shias are all over Pakistan and there is no prejudice against them either. They serve in various ministraries etc. Bilawal bhutto foreigner minister is a shia, shireen mazari human rights minister is a shia.

Even though security situation has improved alot in Pakistan but when it comes to smaller cities and towns foreigners shoulds still be very careful. Major towns and cities are safe but remote villages should still be avoided.

Thank you for exploring the holy birth place of Guru Nanak Dev G but the person along with you were not guiding you properly and I would say misguiding you about a lot of things.
Like
1- The bedroom you shared is not where guru nanak took birth that place is called Sach khand which you will find in every gurdwara for rest of Guru Granth Sahib Ji (11th Guru of Sikhism)
2- That fight was not between hindus and Sikhs in Nankana Sahib but that was something else you could have read that as I think that all was written beside that painting which you just showed
3- The discussion about that issue in Amritsar Sahib was also half truth.

This is the mistake of your host, he needed to get approval from the local security branch of Punjab Police to host a foreign national into their house. If anyone wants to host you in future please go to your local District/ City Police Office and ask to meet CSO tell him dates and venues then he will notify other security agencies so they can ensure safety of foreign nationals.
