For $429 the SE 3 is a bad deal but they’re still good phones for what they are. You can find a lot of them or the SE 2 anywhere but apple ranging from $50-$250 which at that point would be worth it

What do you mean? I still use my iPhone 8 to this date. Love the small form factor and the Home button. The ONLY issue is the battery which is currently at 85% of capacity. I'll upgrade to 15 next month.
I don’t see many people rocking the home button iPhones anymore but it could just be where I’m at
Observations/facts:
All iPhone SE (all three) got the latest A chip when they got announced. A little bit less RAM. Should be the same for SE 4.
The price will probably increase to 499 or 529 dollar.
The reason for no SE4 spring 2024: the 3nm node. I would say it's a chip shortage for N3B (A17 and M3). That's why they wait for N3E (A18 and M4).
So SE4 will get announced at march/april 2025, around 6 months after iPhone 16. It's so likely.
Why can’t I find this iPhone 14 wallpaper colorway??
Yes people bought or are buying the iPhone SE 2022 and I am one of them. Not everyone needs the newest or most up to date phone. If it works it works. I personally like apple products and just wanted a cheaper phone that I am familiar with. I have kept this same model as my main personal phone since the iPhone 7. I enjoy the updated software but really prefer this style. Again there’s pretty much a market for everyone.
If the next se has the same chip as the 15 then the 15 may get a extra year of ios since by the time the 15 is done with updates, the se won’t so it would make sense to keep the 15s around for longer instead of dropping the se with the 15 when it didn’t finish its cycle yet
It would be nice if Apple would release 2 choices for the SE4 - an OLED and an LCD variant. Seems that when Apple release budget iPhones they usually have a single camera sensor

Im sorry, but if the iphone se 4 only comes out with a single camera on the back, less than 90hz display, and a notch, I don’t think it will be worth it for $500. There are so many ways that they could incorporate previous gen tech into the SE and base models and they do the bare minimum.
Having 90hz or 120hz hardly matters to anyone displays looks smooth enough with iOS. Those high refresh rates suites for hangdroids.

Besides the XR in 2018/2019 sold extremely well, more than the XS/XS Max and a lot of average consumers and social media influencers didn’t complain about the XRs camera so i don’t think this cheaper phone in the SE 4 will get complaints

I wouldn't waste my money on the SE4 or any model of iPhone. Just too expensive. They need to produce an SE with great specs for about £399/$399. No point producing a budget/SE device and charging top dollar for it. Great video Nick 🙏

I think the reason apple doesn’t want to put 120hz on the base is because it called promotion for the iPhone so it is only meant for pro apple devices like iPhone 15 pro the iPad Pro
If Apple could produce a midrange chip to maintain the cost in the $400 range, it would be a game changer. I believe most people wouldn't require that much power.
I’ll never buy a non oled phone. The 13 mini is the best iPhone since the 2016 se.
