Anyone who says a true musician only plays an instrument needs to see this. That box is in my eyes and ears an instrument, and you play that thing amazingly.

I play a lot of traditional instruments, just starting to get into synths because the possibilities just seem endless and the sounds you can create are just incredible. Definitely an instrument in their own right.

Thanks! I'm sure there are lots of used Volca Sample Gen 1 out there but you can use the samples on the Gen 2 Volcas too. Just drag and drop the wav samples and it should work just the same! :D

@@Dgeigerd I don't know, there isn't a store in the U.S. that has them in stock right now. I see "brand new" ones on ebay, but that can be hard to trust. I'll probably just grab a secondhand one at some point.

Hey! I would recommend starting with a reverb like Valhalla Supermassive or Valhalla Shimmer. Or a hardware reverb pedal like the Zoom MS 70 CDR. When it comes to Volcas the Volca FM is really great for ambient stuff because it's such a versitable synth when it comes to the type of sounds it can produce. If you wanna try it out for free just download Valhalla Supermassive the the DEXED vst. That will give you an idea of the possibilites. Good luck!

Yes but I use external effects to make it sound larger. Valhalla Shimmer and compression.
