I own both and I am very torn between the two. For me, YSL Y edp is more sophisticated and to be reserved for a special occasion. Dylan on the other hand is more versatile, anytime, anywhere fragrance. And considering the cheaper price, you can go ahead and spray it everyday. As for the fragrance and performance, YSL is a blue perfume but it commands a different, unique and special blend not easily identifiable with other blue fragrances. The sillage is also better, and it last longer as far as my skin is concern. Dylan on the other hand is a decent performer best as an office signature scent. You can't go wrong with Dylan. It's really very hard to take a pick which is better so try to get them both and use it alternatively, sparingly. Cheers!

Unfortunately, I bought YSL Y EDP from boots of Brighton, last week, to find out after using it that it is the worst-performing EDP ever,. I was very disappointed when it nearly disappeared after 30-45 minutes from generously spraying on my skin and clothing. Has anyone had the same experience?????
it also comes down to your skin. sounds weird ik, but its true. The type of skin also plays a role to this. or as dzn replied, its your nose getting yuse to it.
I bought dylan blue in decant and I found it a bit fresh, sweet and earthy (this male sweat thing), its a bit cosy, may be not appropriate to wear it in sun, to me its something for evening. Not smells anything expensive. If you are in to freshies like aqua di gio, coolwater and nautica then its not for you.
I like Dylan Blue and think it is a nice scent but fell in love with it because of the strong compliments. I just bought the Y EDP and I think the scent stands out more and actually like it better becuse of the dry down. for now Dylan blue is one of my best complimented fragrances especially for the price. So for what you get for the price Dylan Blue wins over everything for me. But I can see myself liking Y EDP more but probably would choose Dylan Blue When I buy next because for the price It gets the job done. Dylan Blue for everyday and Y EDP When I want something a little extra. But I'll have to see how Y EDP does for me
After wearing ysl y edp for some time I now like it more than dylan blue. The compliments are off the charts. And I am in love with the scent. sweat and clean. Now one of my favorite scents
I'm fairly new to the scents game but DB was one of my earlier purchases. I picked it up in June and I work outside. Dylan blue can be cloying on me when I start to sweat if it's on my shirt and my chest and I'm in the sun. I'm going to use it for fall for sure. I ended up using Versace pour homme all summer and that was a much better choice for doing work outside. Just picked up YSL EDP today. Phenomenal. It honestly has a bit of the freshness you'd expect from a fresh scent profile, like clean laundry. And some aspects of DB. I'll put it this way. I'd re order a bottle of ysl Y EDP and Versace pour homme if I ran out today. but I'm not sure I'd rebuy Dylan blue as quickly
@@Seasniffer1969 Dylan Blue is very cloying if you are sweating. But if not than I don't like it when I smell it up close. The magic is in the air when it dies down. One of my most complimented. Thanks to your exelent reviews i have started my fragance colection.
Dylan Blue blows Sauvage out of the water. DB has character, Sauvage does not.
I'm a YSL Y guy. YSL L'Homme, YSL La Nuit L'Homme & YSL Le Parfum. Game Over💪
Do you guys think that a batch 2021/02 worth it
I want to buy it but It is a batch of 2021 😭 and not sure If it has been reformulated
That's probably your nose getting used to it. Trust me others can smell it.
Y EDP according to others has amazing performance
Late response but if you still have the ysl let's work out a deal for me to purchase.
it also comes down to your skin. sounds weird ik, but its true.
It smells just like Polo Sport from the 90's to me. But that is a good thing in my opinion.
Now one of my favorite scents
ill probably buy ysl y edp next time
thx man
I'm fairly new to the scents game but DB was one of my earlier purchases.
I enjoy ysl y more though with the same compliment factor. So yes I would get ysl y before Dylan Blue also. I tend to go nose blind to them both. Great choices.
Oh If you don't mind spending money Roja Dove Ellysium is one of my favorites Sample it from Decant X. Great sight to try new scents before spending all that money
Would you check out Y Yves Saint Laurent Eau Fraiche, and tell me your thoughts...
They must change the design of dylan blue in a luxery yet it is cheaper than other and still smells great as the others.
Monika could you please compare Y edp vs Ralphs club edp ? Thank You !
YSL Y edp 60 ml - 72$, Dylan Blue edt 100ml tester - 35$ (in my country). Versace is a monster bang for your buck.
dylan blue here in spain is 42.90€ for 200ml
Difference between a tester and the original?
@@trusttheprocess4775
There's no difference, but there's no cap on a tester and no original box either.
@@giggs8558 oh so would you recommend buying the tester over the original ? Cuz it's cheaper...
@@trusttheprocess4775
Sure, if it's not for a gift to somebody.
You ok? You look a bit under the weather in this video...
I bought YSL a few weeks back and i am in love with it. Love the sage note!
The kind of reaction to perfume when you dont understand the different effects of abroxan to your skin chemistry, and dylan blue is high on abroxan
I’ve been wearing YSL Y EDP for 2 weeks and not 1 compliment. Nothing
I have both of them And I prefer ysl yThey both same about longevity like 5-6 hours but scent of ysl more better I think
Dylan blue bottle looks cheap?? really??
Can you please compare YSL y edp and club de nuit sillage by Armaf please?
I own Dylan Blue and love it. Because the hype I bought a decant of Y EDP and must say I hated.... huge disappointment.
I feel the same way. I think it was reformulates cuz mine isn’t the power house people say it is.
Have anyone tried layering them together?
can I wear "YSL Y EDP" in Summer?
Absolutely
no way, its super potent juice! id say for weather under 70F
Definitely
Yes i finished it the past summer
Despite the low price, you look like someone who would consider a good one (and it is) Lalique Encre Noir
Sampled them both and like them both 🔥
Please make video on
Jpg ultra male
Vs
YSL y
Hi Monika. I Like to se Bleu de Chanel EDT , and EDP VS Y EDP ? Thank You.
Idk the chances you’d bump into someone wearing y edp
Ysl Y eau de perfume is more reliable and refined than Dylan Blue. Dylan Blue I think is more for younger guys than Ysl. Ysl reminds me 35 + years man well dressed and stable with a good job tries to create a nice house and family
I don't like Dylan Blues after smell. To me smells like autumn dirty leaves for some reason.
Try the Ysl parfum and o fresh
I have both. Y smells citrusy fresh. DB smells sweet fresh. YSL Y feels more quality and rich. DB is casual but cool. You gonna get more complimented by DB. Because people love this type of scent.
Yea thats true but Y smells Sweet and Fresh and DB smells citrusy fresh. Its the oppositionelle of what you said
she is kinda bias.. but it is subjective, so it might be true on her side
i have Y also now.. it is giving me headache. i dont know why. it smells good but giving me headache!! 😭
She is so biased and sounds hilarious 🤣
True, I don't like her fake reviews.
Dylan Blue is half the cost, but not half the cologne, a better buy.
I like them both but give the edge to YSL Y!
id give this video a yikes out of 10
Dylan blue smell 80% like paco rabanne invictus to me
What a coincidence !! Steven from Redolessence also talked about Dylan Blue a day ago ...LOL Amazing Telepathy
Dylan blue in terms of price and complements. Ysl y in terms of quality
Dylan also have a Nice bottle
Good review love both but Ysl will win
DYLAN BLUE OR LE MALE LE PARFUM
You lost me on Y will get you more compliments. Fragrance smells different on everyone, there is no way to judge which one will get more compliments.
Sure there is check out videos where they ask people on the street. Some fragrances tend to fair better than others when it comes to compliments. If it doesn't work on your skin spray on clothes.
Cute, classy, sweet, into fragrances, i need myself a woman like you.

Great 📹 and I enjoyed it and I like both of these fragrances and have a blessed day
Y is the clear choice.
Tried ysl y loved at the start and could not bare it on my skin after few hours. But that’s what happens on most fragrances I try, they are amazing to start and in the end of the day I hate it. So far only a bleu de Chanel EDP or parfum was addicting to smell.
