  • Thomas Graham, special assistant to the U.S. president on Russia from 2004 to 2007, gave a talk on “How to Manage US-Russian Rivalry Responsibly” at a symposium organized by the Monterey Initiative in Russian Studies at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. The lecture took place on July 8 in Tbilisi.
    Thomas Graham is currently a distinguished fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations.
    This year’s Monterey Summer Symposium on Russia took place in Yerevan, Tbilisi, and Istanbul from July 1 to July 20.

    lecture very clearly sponsored by russia and this professor may be paid by russia. "let's not cripple russia" was repeated at least 5 times. we get it!!!

      By your same logic we can say you're sponsored by the CIA. Are you paid to promote chaos and sow division? Do you even care about the topic at hand? Do you even have evidence to support your claims? People like you do a disservice to legitimate communication and agreement. We've should have made an alliance with Russia in the 90's. We probably would have had more influence on their political system as a result and built a more secure world in the process. Alas, people like you want to make everyone an enemy over belief systems instead of reasoning and logic.

      I have to assume that you didn’t listen to this talk. He even addressed the elephant in the room - regime change in Russia.
