I know this show isn't the most popular, but I love it to death. A local theater group put it on and it was amazing, so was the bootleg and definitely the music. Welp, that's just my opinion, have a nice day

I wouldn't say that. Every year since its debut 7 years ago, it has had several productions in high school and community/regional theater, even internationally. Yes, the show flopped on Broadway, but it has had a second life elsewhere.

The one recently on in London was INCREDIBLE and the hype was real! I saw it 3 times. Cannot wait for them to do a tour 🥺

Perfect cast and score but wow other stuff could have been done much better. I hope this gets revived and fixed up... I don't know if anyone could beat Laura and Jeremy though.
I found a full bootleg online and some of the reasons I could guess caused it to close are a fast paced story and a crowded stage.
Why don’t they record shows and then sell them when they close? I would buy that. I know they think theatre should be experienced live but now no one can experience it. Laura Osnes and Jeremy Jordan are amazing!!!

These clips are probably from a proshot that was filmed to make the trailer and these show clips videos, but it hadn't been released
All shows are fully recorded proshot style, but most are for archival purposes (in case they wanted a revival or were doing a separate production) but most shows don’t have as much money as something like Hamilton, so they can’t afford to release it, as it may affect sales of any other future productions they may want to do.

I visited Clyde Barrows grave a few months ago. I noticed that so many people put flowers next to his grave even though he did so many terrible things. Proves how fuked peoples minds are. I also visited Bonnie's elementary school. It's now an arts school!
I visited the bridge that Clyde lived under until he was 11ish. Then I visited one of the stores they robbed. It's now a shitty gas station.

The thing about the flowers at Clyde's grave. It doesn't mean that something is wrong with the person that left them, it just means they feel sorry for him, which honestly makes sense. While he was guilty of murder, he personally went to the victims families and gave them an apology and some money to pay for anything they might need at the time. Clyde also suffered in prison and as a child. So yeah, he did awful things, but he wasn't an awful person. He was just staying alive with Bonnie or dying, no matter the cost

I sadly never got to see it for the short time that it was on Broadway and I am really fascinated with the story of Bonnie and Clyde and on top of that the music is brilliant and I'm a huge Laura Osnes fan.

I hate to say it but it closed early deservingly so. The cast (I mean Laura Osnes, Jordan, Melissa van schyffer) is perfect and the Wildhorn score is an improvement to his past works like Jekyll and Hyde or Scarlet Pimpernel, but the book and directing is bland. Also, what's the point of retelling this already-fame-cemented story?
Most people only know them as murderers and outlaws. This musicals puts it in another perspective
mags med well they are murderers and outlaws, which they are and should be known for, not some melodramatic telenovela tragedy. Don't get me wrong, I love the music and the cast, I just don't see the need to adapt this specific story.

The world isn't so painfully black and white, you know. Yes, they were murderers and outlaws. But, why should that mean that's ALL they were? They were young once. They had ambitions. Dreams. Goals. Reasons for ending up the way they did. Everyone has a story - this one's like an underdog tale on steroids. Seems fitting a tale as grandiose as this hit the stage.
