@@PaediatricEmergencies Pearl #11: always know the CDC protochol for treating gonorrhea. The reason why is there will eventually be someone in the know or semi-in the know whom asks you for this information, already knowing the correct answer to the question posed. If you can't give the correct answer off cuff, you look incompetent, which is never good for you or any patient you may be treating. XD.
In Germany we give Ceftriaxone by push over 5 min iv. The medical information (Fachinformation) states that it can be given as 5 min push but infusion over 30min is preferred. Do you have information that speak against using the push application?
