Writers messed Rachel up so bad. Last two seasons were awful. Especially Joey and Rachel part. Apparently even actors were against it but writers didn't listen.

tbh i love their relationship. it was definitely toxic at times, but in the end it wasn’t at all. pure love the whole time, just bad situations and timing got in the way. people say it’s not as realistic, but i think it is. it was Monica’s brother and her best friend, of course it was complicated and had to still stay friends for the sake of the group.

Ross and Rachel are my favorite couple, not only of Friends, but also of all time. I know they are not perfect and some people can be bored with their “will they won’t they “ story. But for me, this was never a problem, because I supported them from the first to the last episode.
And alright, they were not stable as Chandler and Monica, but who cares ? They show that a relationship is not a bed of roses and love can be dangerous and complicated, and sometimes, you have to fight for it. You have to fight really hard to finally get right. I love Ross and Rachel’s story, because as complicated as it can be, show us if you find the right person, you’re gonna love her forever, no matter what.
In the end, we saw Phoebe was right: they are each other’s lobsters and they were mean to be together.

Roschel defines that there will be problems and maybe you'll drift apart, but if you're meant to be you'll find ur way back to each other 🥺❤️ and in roschel both of them did things for each other.. but in mondler.. sorry to say.. but Monica was a control freak.. i didn't like her much coz she was so so jealous of everything everytime.. and Chandler adjusted the most. Aw! I completely understand your opinion. However, I don't really believe in being "right for each other" from the start to the beginning. In my opinion, as of the last 2 seasons, they were no longer right for each other ! So, although I did enjoy their relationship, to me, they shouldn't have gotten back together at the end. That's just my point of view :)
People hated this relationship because it was too real. I know many people who break up, go through horrible moments, and still get back together. People can change, people make mistakes and they learn from them. And they grew and changed from them. And that’s all apart of living

For everyone that's a Ross hater, let me just say this:
He was jealous. He was in fear of losing someone he loved. No one should act like that. Try and make it up.
But, it's a *two-way street* . You can't just look at Ross, you got to look at Rachel too. The times he tries to talk to her, she's busy. He panics in those times because, he's jealous.
Now, about the break thing because I personally think that it was both their fault (I always will). They're the ones in the relationship, so they *both* caused the duress. He wanted to make up with her so he called but heard Mark on the phone, the guy he's been envious of since the problems started, alone with her. So, what else was he supposed to think? But, he shouldn't have slept with someone else in the midst of their _break_ . If he thought that Rachel was in the wrong, he shouldn't have stooped to her level and done it. But, both in the wrong.
Now, after their break up (Seasons 3-10). The normal _Ross Hater_ always says that he was jealous, crazy whenever she wanted to date another guy. Tag, Joey, ALL OF THEM! So; there you go, Ross is terrible because he acted like he owned her. But, again, it's a two-way street. You didn't think Rachel was jealous either? Everytime Ross tried to finally get over her, Rachel would ruin it because of her residual feelings. Bonnie, Emily, etc.
Obviously, this "toxic relationship" came from them still having those feelings for each other. They never got over each other obviously. I mean, they got married and pregnant while drunk. And, this was smart show-wise. It makes the show more attractive giving the audience something to root for. It's a perfect "will-they-won't-they" relationship.
So yeah, that's my essay.

Rachel never directly interfered with his job or his relationships. At her worst, she tried to manipulate his relationship with Julie and Bonnie, but in the end she didn't manage to do anything in a direct way. The Emily thing, she literally just showed up at the wedding. The Julie thing, she tried to make him not have sex with her but that didn't work. The Bonnie thing, Bonnie was already thinking of shaving her hair, she just supported that lmao. Rachel even kinda helped Ross out with Elizabeth's father. Now Ross DIRECTLY tried to meddle with Rachel's job, Rachel's job colleagues, out of jealousy and the need to control

A break is most certainly NOT the same thing as a break up. You're around each other 24/7 and are getting on each other's nerves so you just take a little bit of time apart to breathe. It certainly does not give you the right to cheat on each other. Ross knew it too which is why he was trying so hard to keep her from finding out.
He called her and she had mark in her apartment he was obviously going to think they were sleeping with each other. In my opinion he did nothing wrong
She did say the morning after to Monica that they 'broke up' instead of celebrating their anniversary. Then on her voicemail she said can I be your girlfriend again. That feels like a break up to me! That said, he should not have slept with someone hours afterwards. I think they both were in the wrong in parts.

This entire thing was Ross's fault. He should have listened to Rachel. If he wanted to celebrate their anniversary, he could've done that, when she got back from work. Ross was being selfish and immature and that's just a fact. He could've respected Rachel's opinion, and he should've been happy for her.

There's also that part when ross and rachael were talking outside! how he was telling rachael how funny and smart she was and she was getting all touchy with him! that part was so good

I always agree, if I were in Ross' position, I would have thought that "We need a Break from us" meant that Rachel had broken up with him. However, he should have forgotten about trying to justify his actions, and simply moved on so he could be with Rachel. Joey and Chandler even point this out to him!
JPXW the best thing about that is that everyone has their own thoughts about the ‘break’ and how it should have been handled. That’s why its perfect, because relationships are all different.
The problem wasn't whether he was technically unfaithful to her, but that he slept with someone else the very same night they had the big fight. How could she trust him when, like she said, she was at home rethinking their relationship and coming to terms that she loved him enough to keep working on them, whilst he went to kiss, touch and have sex with another woman? Even though I absolutely adore Ross, I completely understood Rachel's feelings.

i downloaded the entire series and the reason is just to watch ross & rachel😊 the hide & seek of they're feelings, "we are on break!", the joey-rachel thing, the roschel drunk vegas marriage, rachel getting jealous over ross' GFs, ross saying "RACHEL" on his wedding with emily, the accidental pregnancy😍😊. everything !!! hehehehehe

Rachel needed the stability and love that Ross always had for her. She knew, just as we were told in the Pilot, that Ross loved being married and wanted the stability of family life. She knew Ross was a loving, attentive father. She seduced him into an unexpected pregnancy but insisted on carrying their child to term.
Rachel knew, always, that Ross loved her. She knew he loved her so much that he was willing to sacrifice happy relationships and once in a lifetime career opportunities to be by her side. Joey never meant the same. He never would.
It was really only a matter of Rachel deciding to no longer punish Ross for his one night stand and committing to the man she knew she “was supposed to be with”. That was never Joey.
The “I got off the plane” is one of my favorite Ross and Rachel moments that and the “because it is too *DAMN* hard Ross”
