Report on the preparations for the departure of the SS 'Patria' to the Dutch East Indies. Food stocks are supplied and the luggage is hoisted on board. In between these shots brief portraits of the captain, first officer and other crew members. We see the boat at Hoek van Holland sail along the pier, on the way to Southampton and from there to the Dutch East Indies.
