- This is part 1 of the battle with Ragu O Ragula, a pyramid boss, in the Aguel Mine Shaft.
No Viper Fang, Full Carrots, or Scapegoats used.

If you polish Ragu O Ragula's tentacles enough, you get magical alien alfredo sauce...that's what sets Ragu-brand sauces apart from competitors!
@JiuClaw22 None of the later games ever held a candle to the original. I actually found it kind of strange that they never managed to get it right again. The story, environments, and especially the music in the original were miles above the rest of them.
Ragu O Ragula looks different than the original,because in wild arms,he was all white
and has spikes that have a devastating blow

Thank you for Hurting Ragu O Ragula. he was the one boss I couldn't beat and then my copy died (Dunno why?)
yup....makes me want to play it again...but my PSX has been sold by my parents...and I don't have a PSX emulator on my comp....

i played wild arms 1 but never two. looks awesome though.

Access is obtained after fighting Trask the second time in Golgotha Prison.

Everytime i summoned access while i was getting my ass handed to me, i was always like "ooohh ho hoo...NOW you are all FUCKED!!!"
At these levels its way too easy when I attempted to kill Ragu Ragula as low as level 65 I couldn't even reach the "impulse bomber' stage of the fight before it killed everybody at once.
But between it and Angol Moa I find 7th Moon way harder to survive since at level 65 Lilika won't survive the 6000+ damage it causes with FULL HP.
But at level 99 Lilka may not survive 7th Moon either.
I lost constantly even when putting it to sleep and even if I had sleep work for 5 turns I still didn't drain even 50% of his HP when it woke up.
While Fire/Dark rings do help it does no good if you equip 1 of the 2 but it uses the wrong elemental move.
IE you equipped fire rings on all but it decided to use Dark Nova for 6000+ damage instead resulting in a instant game over for me.

it is, i went first for ragu to get the sheriff star in order to defeat angolmois P:
well the bios is illegal so they wont supply you with it. And yes it has save states dont know about speed up game option tho.
You get it later in the game.
ow...you can trow the last bomerang in ragu ragula and ripe out... 25% ofhis hp. soh give more 25% more damage and he will only da a weak attack...so you can beat him easily.
NEVER do that I could NOT beat Angol Mois WITHOUT using the Viper Fang even at lv 99 so NEVER use that item on THIS boss.
beat this guy without the rings. did at lvl 99 though... powerleveled on hyulkontons. life orb makes it easy too
you must be kidding cause my character are at levels like in the 90's and i still can't beat him!

Dud i used to own this game but my brother destroyed it and my Wild Arms game the first and second one i was so mad now i need to rebuy it but i don't know where. Can anyone tell me where i can get Wild Arms and Wild Arms 2 for Playstation?
@DhonnEmrys Level 60 minimum with a good Personal Skills setup. HP Up, Restore HP, Up Parameters, the P and M Attack and Defend skills for the obvious people, etc. That's how I did it =) (Oh, and lots of Sleep spells and Slowdown spells as well)
@Jonnycastaway32 Neither, they raise your luck up so spells like Sleep and Slowdown can "hit" better (and so Kanon can learn her Bionic Arm attacks faster)

@Jonnycastaway32 If you have the money to waste, go stay at the Meria Inn and keep checking the luck of the character(s) you want at Best luck (for this battle I'd highly recommend Marivel, Lilka, and one other character at Best luck...Marivel for Sleep, Lilka for Slowdown [which DOES work], and the other character for another Slowdown spell (Crest Cap), because if Slow Down hits twice, your entire party will be faster than him.
Either that or find Tiny Flowers (steal from enemies).
This guy is a huge shout-out to the final Monster in Ultraman, Zetton. Zetton even had an attack called “One Trillion Degrees Fireball,” and a sort of counterattack too.
i always wondered how that thing eats or sees what it's hitting if it doesn't have a face.

@blueeyedgirlie249 I could probably look this up myself but do Tiny Flowers actually cast slowdown, or do they make you faster? I am just curious.
lol I was level 61 ashley which is the highest when I fought this guy and I was pawned. Damn, I guess I need more level beat this tough guy. Also the yellow fat access sucks. The first one is better. -.-

i don't know about u guys but onyoxflare lives this game and im at level 76 for tim,74 for brad,78 for marivel,74 for lilka (or 75),kanon is 77,ashley is 75.
@Jonnycastaway32 LOL. If you have the monster album in your menu that'll be a lot easier...or you could just look it up online lol. I think there's a few that drop them...not positive.

Does anyone know how to raise and keep your luck at best. I would check it from time to time and it would randomly be at worst. I don't understand the basis for how luck works in this game.
ahuhaua ive killed ragu ragula level 7x with one char... BRAD the super tanker... over ´powerfull combo that i never dies... give 1 punch after that put invencible status with skill and regeneration amulet until your hp is full... repeat another punch or shoot skill and regenerates again. NO ONE CAN BEAT THIS FUCKN STRATEGY kkkkkkkk
call it pure luck but I managed to defeat this guy without knowing its pattern of attack...I maybe too dumb to realize that back then xD

alrighty then thanks for that i sure hope this is going to be availbale when i get it probably next year which hopefully i can buy the slim version of the ps3 when possable but i hope Wild Arms 2 is available to me and ain't going to be region specific for who can DL =(
how do you pay for/ buy off the playstation network because i'm getting the ps3 in due time and the network has a hell of a lot of games that i want to get and if it is indead on there for when i get it i will definately buy the game

Its been so long sense I played this ... I remember buying this game back for the PS back in like 1999 or so? I remember hearing so much about this guy from talking to people in the game, never found him though ...
Access can't be missed as soon as you fight Trask solo with Rudy in that 1 prison dungeon (at the entrance of the area) is when the game forces you to use it.
Ive beaten him my char. are lv 60+
I beat this boss barely without any of the fire or dark rings and at a much lower level. only way though is i used ashleys attack which reduces his hp to critical when lord blazer.

It's the level 8 throw item. It deals 25k damage and there is only 1. You get it by Spiral Tower on the world map.

yeah! this game rocks! i remember first time battling Kanon I lost, she's one of the story line bosses that's actually hard
I don't remember ever beating this guy.
I have never played this but it seems that you are insanely fast at choosing your attacks.
For Ashley, Brad, and Kanon, I had:
Up HP, Restore HP, Up Param., Up P Attack, Up P Defend, and Up M Defend.
For Lilka, Tim, and Marivel, I had the exact same thing, except Up P Attack was changed to Up M Attack.
I think that's what I had on.
