Did they actually use sound bites and footage from Jurassic park???...cuz that t rex sounded awfully familiar and those brontos in the water practically had the opening theme mentally transposed into the footage...like I half expected to hear "welcome...to Jurassic park..."...
Hey Jack, We can consider they lost everything in the crash, they just have their survival package. Survival with no weapons is more manly and more interesting ; ) Cheers, David
I'm surprised their beekeepers helmets with dollar store flashlights glued to the sides and white paper prison psych ward jump suits were space worthy and durable enough to withstand the vacuum of space and tearing through the space time Continuum.....hats off to that Chinese manufacturing company....

Rip off Kubrick's "2001" and "Planet of the Apes" much? Your character calls twice for a crew member and aimlessly walks away without a 3 minute search? Nothing salvaged from the ship? No thoughts of "shelter, water and food"? Children.
Yes we love these both movies so there is blink and tribute. The character of Hamilton (my friend) is calling, they understood he's dead in crash and with ellipse we know he's dead, it's a short movie so we go to essential directly. Yes they get back survival package. Yes we find a shelter, we eat and drink, and we have blanket for sleeping. It is just a short movie did with passion and heart ^.^
Film was not horrible, but the soundtrack was overbearing and primitive, 70's sawtooth and square wave synth crap. Reaction shots went on forever, storyline was almost non-existent and the dialogue was not representative of highly trained astronauts, more like a bunch of high school kids talking. They could have done better, IMHO. College film project?

I guess in a normal flight conditions, like on the planet, to reduce the speed. But in wormhole, they don't intervene.
