Why your family don't keep their shoes in the bedroom closet? Take them off at the door and take them upstairs and out in the bedroom closet that's what a closet for as well as your clothes. Do the family wear bedroom slippers in the house? I put my shoes in the bedroom closet and wear bedroom slippers in my apartment. I've noticed some people leave their shoes on a shoe rack piled up by the door in stead of putting their shoes in their bedroom closet.
That’s just there for the meantime until we finish decorating. I prefer to have things like shoes and coats hidden
