When this scene was shown, I knew this was going to be a great villain for the show. The way Prof Pyg moves, the way he speaks... the actor did it all so well. I knew we were in for a real treat.
And now that I think of it, both of Penguin's parents, Theo Galvan (Twice) Ms Kringle, Nora Fries, the entire Court of Owls, Alice Tetch, Isabella, Gerald Crane, and Mario Falcone
The Guy who acts as professor Pyg, he also plays Mr. tiny in Darren Shan's the vampire's assistant...still waiting for that franchise to take off by the way
I could see him working with Joker in The Dark Knight. He would have meat pies of victims put in front of the mob or board members of Wayne Enterprises. Those would be forced to eat the meat pies would be Sal Maroni, Harvey Dent, Jim Gordon, Rachel Dawes, and Bruce Wayne. If we had other villains that were realistic for those movies, I think we could've also seen... - Riddler - Hush - Lady Shiva - Nyssa al Ghul - Hugo Strange - Deacon Blackfire - Penguin - Harley Quinn - Duela Dent - James Gordon Jr. - Firefly - Deathstroke - Deadshot - Black Mask - Azrael and the Order of St. Dumas - Electrocutioner - Anarky - Ventriliquist and Scarface (cameo as a patient in Arkham like in Telltale games)
God I love this guy. He costume, his voice. I love the realistic pig head, way more intimidating then the plastic one he sometimes wears, and his slimmer build.
@@sirmonke3253 He cooked up homeless people and served them Sweeney Todd Style to Penguin and the Gotham Elite. Meat pies made out of people. Though that sausage was probably pork. When the Pyg revealed himself he said that even that was messed up.
There aren't many things in this world that scare me but one of them is fucked up doctors. And Pyg is one of the few comics characters I get freaked out by.
The real danger was the noose, but I agree it was ridiculous how they acted like Bullock was in desperate need of medical attention. He needed to catch his breath, if they wanted to make the cut a potential cause of death they should've given their makeup department some real instructions.
Why is it that the only faithful adaption of Pyg is in a video game? Don't get me wrong, I like the actor playing Pyg (he is clearly having fun), but I want to see the mad surgeon who wants to make everyone perfect. Instead, we get another vigilante/villain who wants to kill corrupt police. ALso, this scene just shows why we need a proper, batman like character in this series. Not The batman, but Batman-like, instead of a young bruce wayne playing batman (even though he isn't supposed to be batman until he is an adult). Watching all these villains banter with james gordon is boring, because gordon is a boring character (at-least in this show).
Jim said so himself, this guy doesn't want justice, he's using it as an excuse to kill. That said he's just starting out. Serial Killers start out with little to no flimsy motivation until they gain their style. Before, Pyg needed an illegal Butcher to provide the pigs for the masks he makes, now he's got a pen full of pigs to breed and make masks out of. Here he's only targeting crooked cops so that there isn't much effort to track him down. Sooner or later he'll find his true style and escalate. Think of this Pyg as Prequel Pyg. Much like Jerome is Prequel Joker. Jerome may be scarily awesome, but he's still predictable and even Bruce as able to exploit that. As for Gordon being boring. That's the point of heroes in General. Warren Beatty said it best when he was playing Dick Tracy. "I am aware that the criminals in Chester Gould's comic strips and in the movies were very colorful and surprising and so much so, that sometimes they made the character patterned after me seem a little dull. Because why? I am predictable, that's why. And isn't it the job of law enforcement to be predictable?" Same could be said about Gordon, Batman, Superman, you name it. You know why they are predictable? Because they stick to what they know best and power through until justice is done or until they die.
Pretty much. Even then, the perfection thing is part of the reason why Pyg is doing this. Think of it this way. He does all this mad surgeon shit because he believes it will perfect humanity in his demented view. Whereas here he thinks cutting out crime violently, will perfect the city. Life isn't perfect and he's trying to correct that in his own demented POV.
I'll take the Gotham version of Pyg over that singing goofball from the Arkham Knight game any day of the week. The game version of the villain, while faithful, is awful cause of that stupid singing!!!
@@teiyusteki Yeah, I think so too. But he changes his accent multiple times during the series for acting plus his speaking reminds me a bit of english talking nazis in war movies :D Thats why I thought of that.
I like this version of Professor Pyg. He's both theatrical and insane at the same time
Love the black flash pic tho
Oh like professor pyg
This is what makes a good villain. One who doesn’t take things too seriously.
Nailed the voice perfectly!! Love this Pyg
A bit of a unfaithful adaptation, but still love the actor performance.
TheHiddenMadHatter I hate him he is a disgusting animal
I love the character more then the Arkham knight one

Harvey isn’t going to die. Nobody dies in Gotham, everyone gets revived. Especially when penguin says nobody stays dead in Gotham.
ExVolt who knows, this might actually be a suprise
ExVolt well besides Bruce's parents of course
MLGSSJ, not to mention Fish Mooney in the season 3 finale, and the actor confirmed she isn't coming back this season
And now that I think of it, both of Penguin's parents, Theo Galvan (Twice) Ms Kringle, Nora Fries, the entire Court of Owls, Alice Tetch, Isabella, Gerald Crane, and Mario Falcone
ExVolt maybe Harvey will be grudny
Wow they got the voice right
sylvia thimba ikr.
"PYG is like clay! Pyg is like God! Pyg will make us perfect!" 🐷🐖🔪
Pyg is here to fix us all
This is my favorite iteration of Pyg yet!
4:08 LMFAO
I like this Professor Pyg!
Fynn the Fox bruh your insane
Fynn the Fox he kill people then makes them into food
Aiden crafter What meant was that I like this version of Professor Pyg.
Fynn the Fox I don't like professor pyg
They ruined him after by, making him just another employee of Sofia.
Oh god I remember him from beware the batman & Arkham knight lol
The Guy who acts as professor Pyg, he also plays Mr. tiny in Darren Shan's the vampire's assistant...still waiting for that franchise to take off by the way
Omg I knew it!!!!
Imagine a Nolanverse version of Professor Pyg lol
If there were a Nolanverse version of Professor Pyg, he would be the stuff of nightmares.

Good version, but I still think Arkham Knight had the best portrayal of Pyg
Very cool to see Jim & Harvey having each other’s backs
And yet, it’s revealed Harvey stabbed Jim in the back by taking money from Penguin ever since pax penguina started.
HARVEY NOO!!!
Oopsie daisy!
Professor Pyg is kinda creepy
KINDA??
Neroidius okay. He’s really creepy 😂😂😱😱
After seeing the Red Band trailer for the upcoming episode, Gordon was wise not to eat that sausage.
What hapened?

Thx
Thx for responding me after 3 years xD
The way he offered Jim a bite of sausage though 🤣🤣🤣. They did Prof. Pyg too well.
i like grey people, not all good or not all bad. somewhere between it, so things can get more complicated. Good Job Gotham.
He likes a bit like leather face
more like jigsaw
Luckily Professor Pyg won't Ever Have the Misfortune of Meeting Ghost Rider. Ghost Rider would make Fried Extra Crispy Bacon Out of Pro Pyg
this is a real good professor Pyg
I like this version and the video game version. But this one is my favorite for some reason.
Jim is A Survivor He Has Been Through Many Tests And Passed
I Hope Gotham Returns One Day
Same Cast Same People
"No Pyg help!"

I like this version because usually Pyg loves perfection, and he is trying to perfect Gotham by taking down the pax penguina
I love this Pyg too, but Arkham Knight will always be the best to me completely Derange and Insane!
Yeah Gotham shows the backstories of the villains and batman so this is before he goes completely crazy
@@michaelcollins2030 there should be a version of the Pyg like this and Arkham knight
nobody called the cops
"im tickled pink to meet you!" the closet is glass
Sausage is made from remains of animals like cows and pygs then mixed to make the sausage’s meat.
LUCAS MELLO CARIBÉ fuck off
No wonder why nobody wants to see how they're made
El tono cantarín que usa a veces el actor al hablar, le da ese toque tétrico y cínico al personaje, que god
If there were some Dollotrons, this would be a picture perfect adaptation of Pyg.
Why does all this crazy loonies arive only while when my fav penguin rules Gotham. ?
I wasn’t too familiar with Pyg, being a relatively new addition to the rogues gallery (2007?) . . . But _Gotham_ did him so, so well.
Can you upload the scene where Gordon and Harvey are in the hospital and Gordon finds out that Harvey was paid by Penguin
Did he do it?
@@Wade_Fucking_Wilson yup he did
Selena Rodgers thank you
I wanna see harvey dent turn to two face I know that one was harvey bullock

Not only do I think this performance of Pyg is amazing, but I like this design more. Just think the full covering works better than the flat mask.
There aren't many things in this world that scare me but one of them is fucked up doctors. And Pyg is one of the few comics characters I get freaked out by.
Dude that cut was tiny he wouldn't have died
The idea is tiny cut become bigger cause man hanged and fat/

This Pyg is more on the (no pun intended) hammy side
What did pig call jim after he said they didn't have anything in common?
He said he begged to differ and that they both see the corruption of Gotham.
Harvey Bullock...can we trust him?
The sound he made when he ate the sausage was disgusting
If harvey dies he will become a villain thats was happen whit all the characters
bautista vega yeah like Jason Todd
Daniel Sintayehu he's not a villain he is an anti-hero
