You are Christian enough. I am Christian to, but I do not go to church, I do not give money to church etc. I believe for myself not for someone else. If you like to go to church and believe and pray there. Nothing is less powerful than a pray in your home. It is important how you believe for yourself not how much you “need to give to believe, or to be more appreciated in the community”. Appreciate who you are and who you becoming. Breathe. Only hard work can make your life easier. Nobody will give you, only you need to give yourself.

People have their thoughts on the whole “christian streamer vs. streamer who is a Christian” I however think BOTH are viable and important to have both. Every person is different. Our callings are customized. The different approaches reach different audiences and but yet accomplish the same goal, honoring God and reaching people. Proud of you bro and am praying for you as God leads you to figure out what YOUR calling looks like to do fullfil Gods plan for your life, even if it looks different than others.

Your conversations often encouraged me to, at the very least, pepper my conversations with the Gospel and Biblical truths, where I'm planted - in a retail setting. Such a blessing. You still are. I've waited for so long to see this video and am elated for this answer to prayer. I'm 48 years old and still not where I want to be in my walk. My mentor, 70 years old, still not where he wants to be in his walk. You're not alone. It wasn't our cleaned-up selves that came to Jesus all prepared to impress Him when we met Him. It still isn't, every time we've come to Him after that. It is and always has been by His grace, through faith, with nothing we've added. His work alone. God knows your heart more than anyone in the comments. Keep allowing the holy spirit to lead you in alignment with the Bible, you have found a lot of success in the content creation space with that being said we are all subject to change and figure out the path God has called us on. As people we will change and develop new skills and most people won't understand that change because that fall in love with an area you are fulfilling for them rather than understanding Christ is that fulfillment at the end of the day. entertainers, apologists, evangelists, worship leaders, etc will all change and develop into where God calls you to be.
For example, I follow a sound teaching street evangelist who no longer go into the street to talk about Jesus, but now is touring the world, writing, and doing podcasts talking about Jesus and other topics that point back to the cross and building discipleship. A lot of people miss the old him in the street and making videos and was upset as he went thru a transition period. At the end of the day he figured out what was best moving forwarded for his family and his career which is still for God just looks different.
Your entertainment, videos, lives, and more you put out will show the fruit of the spirit and most times when people see that you are doing something good they will ask how you get here and that's the time to glorify Christ and the Kingdom.

Chris, thank you so much for this video, your vulnerability, and for all the content you've put out over the last several years. We are all on a journey with Christ and if it didn't have its valley moments, we wouldn't need God. I truly believe he's brought you on this journey to learn how to trust him more with the direction you take your business/career. Which is hard but it's always worth it when you're in His will.

I loved what you said at the end about wanting to reach a million subscribers to show people that come after you that it's possible. And that there's people to be reached in the gaming space.
I started my channel earlier this year (a channel where I explore the intersection between gaming and faith) and I'm still working on it daily because of creators like you who showed me it's possible to do something like gaming on UA-cam for the glory of God. In other words, you're already making the impact that you desire to see at a million subscribers RIGHT NOW.

1. Satan doesn't want you to succeed, especially if you share the gospel and the name of Jesus.
2. Spiritual fatigue is a real thing. Ask anyone in full time ministry.
3. Recognizing where you were and being wise enough to surround yourself with stronger Christians is a big step.
4. 19:45 sharing facts about yourself that we all have. So many people think that Christians are supposed to be perfect. That's why Jesus came and died on the cross for us. It doesn't give us license to screwup, but the more we seek Jesus, we won't want to do those other things.

You really inspired me when I first found you around a year ago, Chris. A lot has changed for me as well in the past year. I tried everything to be helpful to any churches that would hire me, but I've learned churches don't want help from people like us. Our creativity is maybe just better spent on our own ventures.

Beautifully said brother. We all struggle in our walk with Jesus. It's a process. And for those who don't believe and don't like religion being pushed on you, it's not really religion, it's a personal relationship with Jesus. Something happens when we humble ourselves and ask God to forgive us and believe Jesus died and rose again for you to live forever. There's 2 types of people in this world, those who have asked God for forgiveness, and those who will. Those who say they won't, tell me how that goes when you're at your life's end. When you get ready to cross over to the unkown, you will cry out for God to save you. I hope you do in time. God love's you, so much He sent His only son to die a terrible death on a cross for you. If you can't accept that, then you will have to accept the consequences. I pray all of you non-believers will change your minds and accept this incredible gift that God gave us, because He loves us.

Due to real life I got away from your channel and came back and was curious as to what happened. But every Christian goes through the proverbial valley and most come through on the other side completely different and better for the journey.

Chris I read the Bible everyday. I don’t go to church because I live through doing what the books say. Do the right thing all the time when no one is watching. Remember that. Let people have their opinions. The Bible says spreading seed everywhere will have many places it can’t take root. Keep that verse close. Do what you love, but keep an open mind. If someone needs the word then you’ll know those moments to help. Use your ambitions to help with mental health, and other philanthropic purposes as an asset to your genuine self. I stream, coach, and play COD. I studied esports as a bachelors degree. I also run with Steve. The Steve who reached out to you. He’s a great guy. All this has a larger purpose in your future. Follow the path. If you are doing the right thing, and in the right place when found doing the right thing you will be where you need to be. Don’t stress about how to have a voice in being a good person. Just be one quietly, and people will see that. You have a lot of potential brother. Just being a great human being will be what makes you overcome everything. Let your faith dictate your path confidently. One last thing. In faith I highly suggest you try praying, for things that aren’t selfish. Don’t pray, for success. Don’t pray, for your own self. Pray to help others. Make promises to yourself, God, and others to do more, for others then you do, for yourself. My life came together perfectly when I nearly died, and prayed, for others in my dying. This is where your heart wants to be. Believe 👊
Coming from someone who has been around a while, I think we need more faith talk not less. God put this call on your heart to share Christian content while playing video games Chris. Chris my friend it's admirable that you are on the good path, however you can not coerce others to join the the same path, they have to find the path for themselves.
This word just came to me - maybe from the Lord for you. Have you ever thought about opening your stream(s) with asking folks to drop prayer requests in the comments or opening your stream(s) with prayer?

People are always welcome but the problem with this road is people will treat me like a pastor and start trauma dumping. I am not equipped to handle that.

You may be better equipped to handle it than you believe. The faith in our Lord Jesus gives us the ability to endure, and do, many things people outside of Him cannot.

I think nonbelievers are just that because they want to be their own God. They don’t want to be told that giving yourself to Christ means letting go of your Godlike ego. It’s losing control and you represent that, Christian’s represent that.
I haven’t been to church in a while and I’ve felt guilty about it, I don’t pray often I’m flawed I’m nowhere near the person I want to be for God. Please don’t stop making this content it reminds me what I need to do as a person to make God happy and if you don’t like him voicing his religious opinion than just watch his gameplay you don’t have to watch these specific videos.

It shouldn't be an unpopular thing that you're transitioning to a streamer who is a Christian. Everyone has regular day jobs that they have to do the same thing for.
I think it's honestly enough to be a Christian and to witness to your friends or to just invite them to church. Everything you do does not have to be Christianized specifically.
I don't think that was Paul's point either. He was saying that you should not do the things you do in a way that causes another to stumble and to represent Christ in everything you do, but not that you need to make everything you do about Christ.

I listened to the whole thing so this maybe a long response. I'm DMZer who's a Christian, not the other way around. What turned me off was your best game ever. That switching teams thing was a bit much especially with your name. Remember who you are in the DMZ is who you are in life. For some of us we have just known from the beginning DMZ was our game. The only ethics and morals in DMZ are the ones you choose to follow. The toxic stuff can also be a turn off for viewers. Some guys just keep it light and keep on moving.
When it comes to being a Christian streamer vs a streamer who is Christian. Maybe God needs to improve at being a streamer right now try to grow to 1 million. Also maybe start a different channel just for Christians. Start like you started streaming, in your spare time. Maybe like one short a week about a passage you like. Feed and nourish the followers you get so Christians have something when they a burnt out. I'd follow that.
