Excellent demonstration. I have never owned a metal detector but I'm interested in hunting for gold and meteorites in the Arizona desert. Would the Fisher Gold Bug 2 be as effective for both? I assume I'd need different coils? I'm willing to spend about $1000 if I could possibly get it back in a reasonable amount of time.
thanks for the responce,,,,,, im from mexico, if i want to go to a spot where my be gold how do i know it could be gold there,,,, when i was a bout 7 years old i saw a guy in a river near to where i live, he was looking for gold, i just don know if he did faund any gold,,,,,,

I got used to using two scoops and testing both before tossing. I seem to lose less targets, (lead).
Do that about a hundred times per day in 100degree weather and you’ll be whipped at the end of the day!
