  • TAI CHI 10 STEPS FOR BEGINNERS
    Taiji is one of the most advance martial arts you can practice
    People think that its only for old people but its not. In reality taiji stands for grand ultimate fist and its China's highest states of fighting in self defense. Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements. The ultimate purpose of tai chi is cultivate the qi or life energy within us to flow smoothly and powerfully throughout the body.
    Tai Chi is a healing art that originated in China more than two thousand years ago. It is a series of continuous, circular, slow, relaxed and smooth flowing movements and by doing so it generates tremendous Qi and circulates throughout the body.
    The direction, the flow of the energy and power within the body are controlled by the forms. Done correctly, the form stimulates the energy and power, freeing up blocked pathways.

    Stunning but definitely not for beginners! Wow! It would be super helpful for beginners to have an alternate video option with step by step instructions. Thank you!

    75 year old gentleman who, for life change reasons, gradually let Taiji practice fall into virtual disuse. Now I am returning after some period of serious balance issues. Working my way back and found your excellent video. It is a tad advanced for where I am now, but I am working with it.
    Any advice, suggestiins, etc. will be reply appreciated.

    Nice Tai Chi forms Janice. The family success center where i volunteer at has Tai Chi class on Mondays but the ones that we do in Tai Chi class are the 8 brocades Qigong practice. Also the person who teaches the Tai Chi class challenged me to lead the class next time which i accepted the challenge even though that's out of my comfort zone. I'm highly likely going to mess up in some parts since I'm not very good at teaching and am not very good at explaining things. I'm generally not a fan of Tai Chi but since i want to strengthen my Chi energy to hopefully and literally achieve my human flight goal that i want/desire' sparked some interests to want to learn things involving Chi

    Guys Apply it in fighting style. It is effective. Just memorize the forms, hand drills( WingChun), and Pushing hands or Chin na( to contron the opponent balance). Pay absolutely no attention to his size, His Arrogance fierce facial contortion Nor his Vicious Language. Always remember, Self Defense is not a fun!!!

    Hello Janice. Great demo👍 Just a question- why do you lift your feet high up one after the other at around 2.30? If tai chi is a combat art, why would anyone stand on one leg in a fight? In most Chinese fighting arts, the legs are not raised so high. Also, which style of tai chi is this?

    • @perparimferunaj6857
      @perparimferunaj6857 3 роки тому +2

      Yang style 8 form. That's right. The leg doesn't need to kick such hight into fighting, but in every martial art there are 2 separated disciplines, 1.fight and 2.demo. This is a demo
