This is really scary for the strawhats cause Doflamingo is just so much more powerfull then them but hes nothing compared to Kizaru/Akainu or any of the Emperors. How can they hope to take down Kaido or fight the World Government when they cant take on Doflamingo?
Nothing compared to Akainu or Kizaru? No sure they are stronger than him but not by much. We're talking about the man, who openly laughed while Whitebeard was tilting an entire island. Smiled, made light of and attacked Fujitora. He is scared of Kaidou sure but the level of power between him and Admirals shouldn't be that big.

Again, this is why I dislike the anime thus far since the timeskip, Luffy is constantly being shown as weaker than his manga self. It's not so much weaker per say, but it's portraying like he is struggling at times. In comparison, his manga self never really seems to struggle or be pressured badly by his foe.....hrm....how to put this..... In the Hody Jones fight, that last part on the Arc itself never happened, Hody didn't drug himself twice, just the once, and he was totalled by Luffy without him really struggling, he didn't succeed in out-speeding Gear 2 or land multiple blows on Luffy. He took the bad bite injury earlier, but calmly stated that the injury wasn't enough to stop him when Hody tried taunting him. Then when he faced Caeser in that fight later, Caeser didn't manage to buff up and almost match his last attack, Caeser panicked and screamed like a little b!tch before being one-shotted by Luffy's attack without any challenge. In this way, he's always portrayed as being....in control in the manga, like the fights he's been in aren't really as much of a challenge for him, something the anime has screwed up with it's extended fight scenes. As such, I can safely assume that the Gear 4 is meant to be the game changer that we have been waiting for.
And I still like that Law's and Doflamingo's fruits both in concept don't sound that great for battle but they both make them seem so powerful because of how they use them
