Hey Voch, could you explain if all these passrushers are rushing from the same spots? I’ve seen a few guys rush from out the wide 9 spot, others from a 3/4 OLB spot & others from the traditional 43 End spot. is there an advantage?
OforillyDAGOD it depends on the rusher and blocker. Everson ball get off is ridiculous so he can work in a phone booth. Closer to the qb the better. Some guys rush wide to get more space to use moves and set guys up.
That get off was insane.

Are "ball get-off" and "first step" the same thing? Sometimes you seem to use them interchangeably, but then you also note that there are players with better first steps than Griffen, but he's got "ball get-off." FYI, was referred here by Christopher Gates at The Daily Norseman.
cka2nd salute. Ball get off is a combo of timing the snap, first step and second gear. Von Miller has a better first step, but Everson has great timing. Hope this helped
