He skates better than Power did with 3 extra inches and way more length. Crazy potential here. The other good thing IMO is if he draft him and he doesn't reach his potential you still have a NHL defensemen off tools alone as well. GM's will love that.

Solid pick no matter what, a mobile 6’7” defenseman that can score even just on paper he’s got incredible trade value up front as the next couple draft classes are pretty weak

Thank you for the video but I went back and watched some of his 2023 JHL games with Chaika and he was excellent especially in the Kharlmov cup postseason. What made you decide he did not have a great season? His team was very good on defense with NHL prospects but there were many games when Anton was the best, even in skating and passing. Apparently he was heavily coveted after his playoff. Thank you again.

6pts in his first 9 games and now 5 pts in his last 48 games.
He's got great mobility for a 6foot7 guy, but he's the 4th dmen on my list at the draft.

As a big fan of hockey, i'll say that KHL is a 2nd league in the world for sure. So the 17 y.o, defensmen got 11 pts in 57 games in 2nd world league and other D's, who playing in London team scoring, assisting a lot?! Is it comparable for you?

So you’re judging a defensive minded dman by how many points he scored? Ok bud

@@ashtonrutledge8579 Because you can never have too many defensemen in the NHL plus this draft is loaded on defense so I feel at #10 there is a good chance that a defenseman that we really like will fall to us.

@@trevorfromcanada5790having seen him in KHL, i can tell that he’s far from being gritty and hard-nosed. Igor Larionov being the head coach doesn’t want his D-men to be physical. However, Silayev is extremely mobile for his size. After all, it totally depends on the team and coach he goes to.

Boom or bust pick. I wouldn't risk a top 10 pick on him. He will probably be picked in the 11-15 range.

He's going to Ducks @ #3 and he will be the most impactful player (towards) winning in the long run. He's built for the NHL playoffs and no team are going to dump pucks on his entire side of the ice.

rank 1, he plays with the big boys and is already puting up points against MEN, while the rest are playing with little kids and low end goal tending and D.

@@greenchef6you draft by skill and potential not knowing when a player will peak or their trajectory...Let's say two players are fairly equal in skill then size becomes the determining factor for scouts...Some players just can't live up to their potential and some others go on to play better than any potential they were believed to have had...wouldnt you pick the more skilled player?
